Those two are about to lock horns. Who ya got?? While always a huge Vance fan, Rubio is an impressive Secretary of State.

Edit: maybe this has been discussed on the board, but I’m not on here as much as most of you so maybe I missed it. Cut me some slack.

I agree. It's going to be hard for me to choose -- at least right now! They are both great candidates.

Like in what way, locking horns? On a particular issue that Im blanking out on here? 2028 Republican nomination stuff?? Or are they both tagging the same piece of tail on the side??? Could be any number of things. I mostly kid. The first two things were serious.

Rubio is not Ivy League educated, so he is my first choice.

Also, Rubio is 55 years old and Vance is 41 years old.
Both should become president but Marco's best window starts in 2028.

Based on John Robert's recent reliance upon British Common Law definitions, both Marco Rubio and Kamala Harris would not be entitled to the "Natural Born" mantle, and thus would not be eligible to become a US president..

I’m voting against whoever negotiated that retarded MOU.

The recent Rubio push is due to Vance's speech telling Israel they have no friends. Even Shapiro was pimping Rubio earlier today.

You elect Rubio you're going to get a 3 million person amnesty bill passed.

Will gladly vote for him over Newsom or AOC but let's not forget shitty neocon politics

Vance has more charisma. Rubio would do a better job.

My choice would be Rubio and as people have pointed out Vance is younger and should take over afterward.

But we have to pick the person who is more electable. And I'm not sure who that is at this time. We have time yet.

Rubio recently said that he would support Vance as President.

It's about time we started having military guys in the whitehouse again.

DeSantis is vastly superior to both of those bureaucrats. He's doing what they talk about.

Rubio is a chameleon regardless. Gang of Eight.

Rubio. I hated him for years, but he’s been impressive.

Rubio gives the R’s way more of a chance at holding the Trump coalition together in 28. Rubio also gives the R’s the best chance at picking up some Dems that might be red pilled between now and then.

One thing being overlooked on Vance right now is his candidacy could fall apart before it really ever begins over this Iran action. He has been lead negotiator on the US side. There was a point or two Vance let Iran slide by him. He can’t keep that up. If anything he agrees to in some deal blows up later then he is the cat responsible for it and he will suffer the political consequences.

Rubio is fluent in Spanish.

While overall Republican poling has them statistically even, Rubio wins with Hispanics, which is critical in a national election.

Vance is an excellent communicator. I also like Rubio and the thing is the SOS position is in many ways more important and visible than VP…..

I just want MAGA administrations for the next 50 years or more.……or more

I think Vance can out debate anyone and he gets the nomination and becomes POTUS for 8 years….

I think we are fortunate to have two (or even 3 if you count DeSantis) really good candidates for POTUS. All three would beat whoever the Dems put up but in my opinion, Rubio is better built for a general election.
