Obviously these two are the front runners in 2028. Is there any way they can form an alliance and avoid an ugly primary that could wound the eventual nominee??

The fact that people want to blame Vance over Iran when he was the one person that tried to convince Trump what a disaster it would turn out to be is crazy. Rubio would just keep pushing the same policies that he supported in the senate which is typically establishment positions. Also a Republican has to be able to win Ohio Wisc, Penn and Vance would have a much better chance there.

If Trump pushes Rubio it would just be a continuation of a disappointing second term. It got off to a good start but the last year has been a disaster full of completely unforced errors.

Vance because he isn’t a neocon chickenhawk like Rubio.

Crazy to me that people would think the political chameleon who was still defending the Iraq War and pushing mass amnesty when he ran in 2016 is a decent, principled candidate. Rubio is a less gay, Hispanic Lindsey Graham. He has a hot wife and that’s about all he has going for him.

Which is again yet another example of attention grabbing headlines or talking points, the truth of which being no one certainly among us can rationally say how accurate that claim may be, if not fabricated altogether. Yet adopted as fact if feels right. Just one of many, many, many, many, many scores of such foolishness.

According to some of you’s line of thinking, if Israel doesn’t love you, you ain’t electable nohow. ‘Member?? Does “Israel controls our government/national politics” ring any bells??

It’s okay, we can admit Iran was a totally unforced and costly error by Trump. Most people who have studied history knew that when this war started in February it would be yet another forever war. At the time, the administration said it would last a few weeks. And here we are 5 months later.

Well of course it’s ok. As long as you understand that’s nothing more than opinion. And I can only assume you’re completely familiar with what opinions are, and how they work, and the practice of opinion sharing. But hell, if not, I’m willing to put a little something together on it.

And just to clarify for the record and for transcripts purposes, my opinion differs with your opinion.

You’re welcome to your opinion, but like two weeks to stop the spread, two weeks to stop Iran ended up being much longer than that and with no end in sight. If you’re aware of a winning objective or strategy for this war or whatever we’re calling it on any given day, that everyone else is missing, please feel free to share.

Wrong, Rubio is not more electable, Rubio is a bushie, pro war bushie for sure, Think, in the mid west that dog will not hunt. Vance can win the south and the midwest, don't think Rubio can win the midwest. JMO

Both Vance and Rubio are justices men to Trump. Simply playing a role. Yes Boss.

Neither can replicate what Trump did on their own.

They are not business people. The have never built a successful organization on his own.

Trump has proven that we need successful business people to lead this country. That’s where the successful achievers are. Not in politics.

Well that settles that. Vance is the only choice.
