For her to say what she did about the roof is unforgivable alone.

If she had any shame she’d resign. But here we are.

Just curious, but did the counter-snipers "inside" the building have themselves a direct line of fire to Trump? Is there any way the line of the bullet turbulence as it whizzed past Trump's head can be shown to be a shot directed down (from a rooftop) or up or level, like from a position inside that building?

Why is this beginning to feel like the Las Vegas mass shooting situation 2.0?

Whoever put that immigration power point together really saved his life. He was "look how bad that is". Had he not turned his head a 2nd time to reiterate how bad it was, he'd be gone.

It was too dangerous to have someone up there, so they secured the building from the INSIDE??? How about the thought that it would be TOO DANGEROUS, NOT to have someone up there.

Was it too dangerous to have someone sitting...idk... AT THE ROOF ACCESS?!?! Paul Blart would have done a better job.

It would take some work, but I think someone could do it.

You know what also has a safety factor to be considered?

ACTUALLY GUARDING THE CANDIDATE, YOU DUMB KUNT.

“Oh, there’s a safety factor involved. We can’t have agents taking a bullet for the protectee.”

As it sits, this is the only logical conclusion. MAYBE there will be a better explanation downstream that changes my mind, but right now, not securing that roof is so blatantly wrong that it's hard to come to any other conclusion.

How many times did the counter snipers fall off of their roof before they made it to the top?

What a really stupid comment from the Director. That building has very small narrow windows that do not give a wide field of vision to be used for any observation purpose from inside.

This is really starting to look like it was intentionally set up. How can the shooter be on the roof of the building the sniper team is in, and being used as LE staging area, and they cant get someone up there in 3minutes before he made his shots?

I saw it reported that they said he used the air Conditioner to get on the roof. The air condition for the building is on the side of the building open to the field and on the opposite side of where he was videoed.

Google maps gives a street view of the building from the parking lot. In the street view there is a loading dock with pallets and then two large evergreen trees blocking the view of the area close to where Crooks was seen on the roof. Kinda hard to explain if that was how he got on the roof right in front of LE staging area.

Why couldn't LE easily climbed up on the other roof behind Crooks within 30 seconds. They are a sniper team so they should be resourceful to get on a roof without a ladder right?

Then look how the stands were arranged on the left side of the stage. It looks like they were positioned to give that ling of sight to the podium? Just a few feet forwards and/or turned in to the stage and the line of sight would not have been there. Compare it to the stands on the right side.

My roof has a 12:12 slope and there were dudes on it today cleaning gutters and valleys walking around like it’s a ranch.
