The barns with the counter snipers had steeper sloping roofs than that building.

The 2 snipers that were behind Trump on the barn were at a much greater slope. This bitch needs to resign or be fired immediately.

The follow up should be:

Ok. So the decision was made to secure the building from the inside. You didn’t want to put someone in danger on a sloped roof. Fair. How did the shooter get up there if you had everything secure?

The alternative that the USSS is scared to put snipers on a modestly sloped roof because someone could get a boo boo is the more horrific narrative

The horrific narrative to me is that she had three days to come up with something and that's where she landed.

I am trying to not run with conspiracy theories...

but maybe she was involved and thinks saying something like that will keep her alive.

Because honestly, that's about the best I can come up with. If it's malice, then we could root out the bad actors and fix things.

If what she said is legitimate, the entire agency is fricked, we need to fire them all (and possibly put the upper level in prison), and run protection details from local PDs and/or military SF teams.

This is a gigantic scandal. How can that lady not be smart enough to come up with a better excuse than a sloped roof? JFC

Hell, handicap ramps have more slope than the roof the shooter was on.

in another question- is that a rangefinder on top of the scope?

I ask, because we saw that guy's head pop up off the scope briefly during the shooting.
Was he confirming range, to ensure his shot would be on target? We saw he WAS accurate, a clean headshot.

When Trump wins. She gone.

Seriously, would any rational and sane person be complicit in the murder of another human being to keep their jobs?

That is by far one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard, much less for this specific event. That disqualifies her for ANY job in security. Definitely for the USSS.

Especially when there were snipers, who I'm convinced were not USSS, on that barn with 3x the pitch.

Now I want to know, it begs this question, is that something the field USSS team(s) fed back to leadership. If they did those personnel should be called out privately and publicly.

If it wasn't feedback from the field, they need to look real hard at charging her criminally because that is a blatant bullshite remark and belies intent. Make her say that shite under oath.

Four LEOs and a dead body on top of the roof in the aftermath. Nobody harnessed. Nobody in danger of falling.

Can you imagine all the DEI wannabe hardass female USSS leadership sitting around “collabing” on this decision while sipping lattes?

“This is the most prime spot for a sniper to target Trump.”

“Yes but that roof has a slope to it and it’s more than six feet from the ground - real hazard for our team’s safety.”

“Definitely don’t want to risk someone falling off that, might break a leg. Let’s put some folks IN the building. That’ll work for sure.”

“Done! What a day! When are we getting our nails done boss babe?!?!?”
