I think the blockade will be in place until the mines are cleared by the US. Once that is done, the US will open up the strait and tell Iran that if they fire on any tankers passing that the US will destroy their power plants and bridges.

The beauty is the press has painted Trump as crazy so he is using that to his advantage here. Close the strait and dare people he’s not crazy enough to shoot at them. His Easter tweet will prove to have been brilliant as other countries have no clue what he will actually do and I doubt any country tries now. We are militarily superior by far and this break has allowed us to regroup. We are planning while Iran is surviving. The regime will fall eventually.
