Pipelines also have limits. They'll need to make a bunch of new ones the entire distance. There isn't enough capacity in the existing pipelines to handle all that flow. Countries like Saudi Arabia that would handle the bulk of the volume didn't really build theirs with these things in mind.
Natural Gas has issues also.
And that is after the countries like Iraq build their part.
It'll help for sure, but it won't stop the entire need of the strait.

We are up to 18 million a day. 90% of what it was pre-war.
That's more than what Iran would be allowing if we had not done anything.

They share a border with Russia if push comes to shove. They diversify where they get their oil from is why they don't get more already.
Meaning they currently purposely cap the oil they get from Russia even though it's cheaper.
You can imagine that it's something the US doesn't want to happen at all.
We are just protecting the petro dollar and the banking cartels, which I actively cheer against.

China was trading and getting cheap oil from Venezuela and Iran now that's over. Russia can't afford to sell cheap as China is used to plus they have their own energy needs. Trump is playing the long game...man is not a dummy
