Sure am glad the environmentalists didn’t put two $1mill Rotor sails on that tanker so it could virtue sail to chini.

They don't need to control the strait. That's the problem.

What was the purpose of these attacks again? Oh yeah, because Iran was fricking shite up in the strait and this was a retaliation.

We are at the point where just getting back to what things were 7 months ago will be cheered as a victory.

Just attacking ships with enough frequency to cause flow to stop.

Like I said, that's the issue. They don't need this huge military presence to cause the issues. That's why we are retaliating by attacking other tankers in response.

We have no real targets, and yet they still cause problems.

Imagine thinking the sinking of this tanker has anything to do with the Strait of Hormuz.

I don't remember German uboats sparing any British (or even American) tankers/supplies ships in 2 world wars.

If you're at war, you have a right and duty to send to the bottom of the sea those who are aiding and abetting the enemy even if they're civilians of the enemy regime or any other.

That's opening up a can of worms. Ukraine and Russia are now blowing up all kinds of civilian warehouses based on some of these BS excuses.

It’s been reported that it was operation using USVs, SEALs and Navy Divers. I posted about it here a week or so ago.

The flow is increasing every day. We are playing the long game and the outcome isn't great for the Mullahs.

Why don't you jump on the team and come in for the big win?

quote:

While Iranian crude isn't getting through, oil from other Gulf nations is. Fox News' Trey Yingst reported Sunday that while the number of vessels passing through the Strait of Hormuz is dramatically down since the start of the conflict, the number of barrels a day currently going through is almost back to pre-war levels.

The number of vessels that are actually passing through the strait, it's about 40 percent of what it was from pre-war levels, but the number of barrels of oil is around 18 million a day, and before the war it was 20 million. And so the United States has effectively found a way to bypass Iranian threats in the Strait of Hormuz.

You have a dependable habit of being wrong.

5 million barrels a day.
