We're talkin' ISIS unbridled. They'll set up the Islamic caliphate the radicals have envisioned for more than a millennium.

Yes, this is why it hasn't been done before now.

However Russia's every increasing bully on yet another international front this week and Assad's chemical weapons were game changers. Grownups have to make grownup decisions, in hope that their children grow up with a fully grown pair of their own.

Hopefully we have learned from past mistakes concerning leaving nothing in the wake of a departure. Military men study this... politician's have to learn the hard way.

So no chance it was actually a legit response to a Syrian gas attack against civilians...like it seems? Just another military assault solely for the purpose of redirecting journalists to write about something different, right?

frick. I give up.

If Clinton had been elected we would probably be hitting Syria with cruise missiles right about now too.

There doesn't seem to be any proof that Assad was responsible for this sarin attack. More likely we were.

So it's a bit weird that the Russians possibly got more notice than Congress.

They sure were ready with a response to what would happen "if" at just the right time.

This isn't great, apparently the Syrians knew the attack was coming(possibly because we warned the Russians). Syrians evacuate personnel and equipment prior to US strike.
