The lesson is well learned and it has been the same since right after the Korean War. There is a ton on money in the 'Defense' industry and many many people want a piece of that pie.

Really in World War Two it was shown with the "cost plus" contract that the government would just rain money on you. Eisenhower warned us in 1961 and now the United States is not only the worst purveyor of violence on the planet, we are also wrecking the future of the country for the sake of the war mongers.

Sarin is a nerve gas. The way nerve gases work is by shutting down your muscles including the diaphragm. With your diaphragm shut down death typically follows immediately. We learned in the Marines how to aid a victim of a nerve gas attack who was in a gas mask. You have to do the old lift and pump the arms thing to work the lungs. Putting people in an oxygen mask wouldn't appear to be a good treatment. There have been lots of pictures of that. Lack of oxygen is not the problem with nerve gases, the problem is it cannot be easily gotten to the lungs.

Also it has been pointed out that there was no reason for the Syrian government to do this at this time. The Insurgency is failing; the Russians are on the ground helping them.

The only reason to suffer Trump in the White House is that he appeared to be willing to resist the 'Israel First' contingent. He appears to have caved to those interests. It just makes me sick. I would still not have voted for Clinton under any condition.

Just checking wiki, Sarin and Tabun were both developed by the Germans in the late 1930's. Tabun was the agent they used in the death camps when they wanted to trick the victims into thinking they were going for a shower.
