Zero empathy

not true - I am very sorry she got taken and hope for the best.

But I will not defend her decision to put herself in that situation.

no money or 'status' is worth that risk in my opinion.

I have the same sympathy as I do for lion tamers - hate to see it - but no outpouring of angst -

I reserve great sympathy for Jewish infants these same terrorists tortured to death.

Yeah man that picture of food & her being bi-lingual really debunked this point

Its a picture of her celebrating a muslim holiday

I dont have much sympathy for those deluded into thinking that we can coexist with a people who have been enslaving and murdering our kind since the 7th century

Just curious because I don't know, do you feel the same about those who celebrated when Charlie Kirk was murdered? Honest question

Absolutely. The bar for celebrating someone’s death has to be somewhere hovering in Hitler territory.

We can debate her politics if someone would like to do that… but we don’t even know her politics. International reporters are generally more serious & objective than the entertainment news at home. And they face real risks.

None of us are celebrating. If Charlie Kirk said Muslims are completely safe, we should accept their world view and then got killed/kidnapped in a Muslim country I'd feel the same way. Sorry, but you're misinformed and make bad decisions.

The women really is somewhat stupid standing on a corner by herself in that environment. Safety is all about minimizing your exposed time and she evidently did not take that class

Poor woman.

Indeed. I won't dare speak it, but we clearly both know it.

I pray the blood of Christ over this journalist, and ask that she be protected.

Why are they calling her a US journalist? Her Facebook clearly say she is from Rome, Italy and lives in Baghdad, Iraq.

So an Italian journalist goes missing right after Italy refuses air space? Italy better nut up and go get their girl.

Well citizens have been warned about being in these countries. This is a reason why. I'm sure she is idealistic and probably did a great job. I hope she survives this. I hope there will be no videos.

Duh. But someone has to cover it if it’s going to be covered.

I don’t hold foreign and regional correspondents/true field reporters in the same contempt as media members who sit in Hudson Yards in front a green screen. They aren’t the same people.

Enough of the holier than thou. If Jesse Watters got kidnapped, they would be rejoicing in the media. Hell, they were busy mocking Charlie.

GTFO with that shite
