Congressional Black Caucus blocking Black House Republican from joining group
quote:
A Black House Republican member is allegedly being blocked from joining the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) as one of only two Black Republicans in the House.
Rep. Byron Donalds (R-Fla.) and his staff have reached out to members of the CBC multiple times, but Donalds’s spokesman Harrison Fields said in a statement to The Hill that “all we’ve got is the cold shoulder.”
That alone would be enough to move my vote from Jordan to Donalds. I hope he wins so I can see the tolerant, inclusive Left hypocritically hurling racial epithets at him for at least the next two years.

It's incredibly facepalmy how dense the McCarthybots are being by passing on the opportunity that Donalds presents.
Donalds has been a strong conservative. He also happens to be a young black man which would be a very good thing to have in the most visible Republican leadership position. Democrats have successfully branded us as the party of rich old white guys. And I'm not sure they're wrong. It would be a good thing for the Republican party to present a different face in leadership, to grow the brand, to counter the narrative that the Republican party isn't for this group, this group etc.
We made waves in 2020 with black voters with Latino voters. The willingness is there. Reach out to them. Let them know they've got a home in this party. If you want to survive, you've got to expand who's voting for you.

Jordan doesn't want the speakership and is backing McCarthy. Hence the shift toward Donalds for now. Biggs is a non-starter.

You have spoken the unvarnished truth
Unfortunately, the people against such are of the ilk of the chucklefricks that threw Brandi Love out of the TPUSA event.

Apparently the men, women and children who were sold into slavery prior to the 20th century told Al Green that they want Hakeem Jeffries.

I want to know what dumb bitch brought her baby to this shite show? You are in congress and can’t get a babysitter?

Those racist frickers in the BCC won't let Byron in their club?
Since they kicked out Allen West for ordering Chick-Fil-A. I bet they have a Farrakhan portrait up in the caucus room. With all of their fake African vests. How many of them descended through the biggest BLACK slave owner in SC?

Of course she can get a babysitter. But then she wouldn’t get as much attention.

Rep. Tony Cárdenas (California) yesterday in the House Chamber:

Al Green is a nutjob. He should go to Kev & fat man pollsters condo and have a 4Some with MTG.
