I’m not sure what’s under the black bars but it only proves that what he did was such a threat to our democracy that he can’t be allowed to run again

This is a legal memorandum submitted in support of the redactions on the affidavit. If the legal memorandum has this many reducations, the affidavit is likely going to have more.

Someone linked the actual affidavit in the thread I started. It's thirty some odd pages, with multiple basically whole pages of redactions.
Just found actual affidavit & added to OP

Why isn't he under arrest if it's so bad?
Shouldn't we have to presume he's still privy to all the highly super secret stuff he apparently WASN'T SUPPOSED TO HAVE and could still do all the bad stuff you seem to fear he could do with them if he did?

ETA: the affidavit is out there. What’s quoted in OP is not the affidavit
Link to affidavit added to OP, along with summary images of the first half.

We're the laziest mother frickers on the planet for putting up with this shite.

That's useless.
All it does is paint the severe need for redaction (without providing any evidence that I can see) and then redacts a ton of things.
For us, this looks like a bullshite coverup which will simply allow bad actors to continue to suggest this is SO BAD no one can see it.
For Leftists, this proves their worst fears in that nothing can be unsealed because Trumpists are deranged lunatics trying to murder FBI agents, and the stuff that was blacked out most be SO BAD that if it got out Putin would bomb our country!
What a complete clown show.

The info I really want to see is redacted.
Yep. But I don't even really care who the "witnesses" are, I just want to know why they felt it necessary to conduct a search in the first place. And I want to know what kind of "national security" information Trump supposedly had.

It is what we thought it was. Nothing.

The only questions I have are:
Does the President have the authority to declassify documents?
Did Trump declassify them before leaving office?
If the answer is yes to both questions, then the FBI and the magistrate will have a LOT of explaining to do.
Just reading the tea leaves, but I highly doubt Trump would have pushed for the release of the affidavit, if he wasn't holding a royal flush.

There is little in this release that would quell suspicion that the raid was politically motivated.

Yes. President can point his middle finger at the documents and say declassified. Maybe they thought this would make him look bad even though they have no case. Always backfires. Trump powers intensified

Don’t worry. CNN will tell us what’s up.

I'm not really keeping up with this much - but that's not an affidavit, redacted or otherwise. It's just a redacted brief about the redactions needed for the affidavit (so arguably it's worse )
unless I'm missing something here
Mods deleted the link to the affidavit but I still have it open and just finished reading it.
The un-named FBI agent specializing in counter intelligence claims that in working with national archives and two of Trumps lawyers he determined there were classified docs at Trump's place and they were 1: not stored securely, even if Trump had the right to them, they have to be stored more secure than how he was storing them, which is a federal crime. and 2: redacted.

I bet they did. Since they were about the Russiagate hoax and had been declassified.
