What's going on in that graph?

Trump tried to balance the budget by laying off some data entry clerks?

Seriously what the hell is going on there?

Why don't you tell us what policies of Trump's "caused" this?

Well, that's a pretty easy one to answer- accelerating the practice of spending more than we take in.

On the upside of an economic expansion too.

Trump knows we can’t declare bankruptcy, right?

If we did, what could anyone do about it?

It’s not like another country could send a debt collector after us. Would China start a war? Would the UN levy sanctions?

Wait...

So Trump is only on pace to increase our debt by 3.2 Trillion over 4 years.

shite he needs to get busy and up his game if he wants to keep up with Obama.

Dude. You didn't get the memo? People around here don't care about deficits anymore. You'll have to wait till a democrat is back in office for it to matter on this board again.
I guess you did get the memo, that Dems now do care about deficits, despite adding 10 trillion to the debt in 8 years, and every Democratic candidate proposed massive increases in public spending while saying that the 1% is going to pay for it, which is patently ridiculous

So now liberals are concerned with running up the debt?
What a weird world we live in.

Everyone should be concerned about fiscal issues

Deflecting is a bitch move. Why are you ok with massive deficits now? Are you just an inconsistent little bitch?

That number makes me so sad. I'm glad I'm young and have time for this shite to be resolved because it's gonna be chaos whenever the debt comes to a head. fricking government.

It comes to a head when interest rates rise.

That's why I'm skeptical of the Fed raising the Fed's Fund rate really fast. The Fed doesn't want to piss off congress. They could put a halt to congress' profligate spending really fast if they wanted to.

Who was it that demanded discretionary spending in the recent budget? Oh, yeah it was the Democrats. They refused to sign any military budget without all of their pet socialist projects being funded dollar for dollar.

Hey 90proof

Don’t laugh

I bought rothbard’s man, economy, and state and I find it fascinating

I don’t agree with everything the Austrians believe, but I find the work to be pretty informative and not too out there.

I'm glad I'm old.

I'm moving to Brazil in 6 years and live out the rest of my life like a king of kings.

How is Jared Kushner family business doing?

Sounds like it is doing much better. Trump should move Kush over to help with are national debt.

Definitely not Ben Carson.
