And then there is the issue with the UK deal which includes rare earth rights that was signed long before our deal. And the fact that Zelensky was shopping a similar deal to France as far back as before the original deal with the US was announced.

You’re misunderstanding what I’m saying. If Russia takes those lands… we don’t have access to them. Trump wants the peace deal because ending the war now gives us access. Trump is thinking long term here and rightly so. No one wants Russia in control of more grain exports as they’re not trustworthy. Just like they wield energy as a weapon they’ll do it with grains too. From their perspective that’s smart. But it’s a pain in the arse for much of the world. I’m sure China would have no problems whatsoever though and would appreciate it.

Sure we do. We just make a deal with Russia for rare earths. Which they will give us. Russia wants a normal economy. Europe is doing all they can to keep Russia from having a normal economy.

Russia doesn’t want peace. Or at least they don’t want it on someone else’s terms. Neither does Ukraine. That’s how wars work

I am extremely curious to see how long it takes for you to completely abandon your supposed MAGA coat when Trump vocally opposes Putin instead of continuing to enable him. 1 hour? 1 day? 1 tweet? Because it's pretty naive to think the US had no hand or prior knowledge in this airbase attack.
