I don’t think these people realize that Trump has all the cards. I wonder how much money we pour into the UK every year. I think that will stop or at the very least make them regret this action. I mean non action

That's fine, UK ships are free to pass through the strait on their own, unless they're paying Iran for safe passage. Then they'll have to go around.

According to the statement this morning, the plan is to stop all shipping until they can clear any mines and then open it up.
As an aside, what do you think about the EU backing Iran membership on a UN committee for Women's rights and terrorism prevention? There's a thread about it if you'd like to weigh in.
