Tuesday Night Could Have Been Worse

At least you guys didn’t have to hear me and SFP
My takeaways so far:
- Still don’t think this gives the Democrats any sort of mandate other than to obstruct Trump, which is probably for the best being that they don’t really know where they’re going as a party either.
- Ossoff is the front runner for the 2028 Democrat nomination. Schumer will do what he can to elevate him because that also keeps AOC from rising and challenging Schumer any time soon.
- JD Vance’s political career is over. Wishy-washy sycophant to whatever is the cool new thing. He’s done that enough for everyone of all stripes to see it.
- With all due respect to my boy lurking, that Vivek ad really crystallized where MAGA was at this point in its life. It galvanized people to get out and vote against it and them.
- I think we see more Republicans than you realize vote to impeach Trump if it’s gets to that. He’s politically neutered with no real power beyond 2028 or an impeachment and I think you see knives come out.

What happened to SFP? He get banned again? If so, what for.

Been waiting for you and SFP to flex. Thought you may have gotten the banhammer.
Not sure about JD. This board seems split on him. Half think he is the only hope for MAGA/AF going forward, everyone else thinks he's a phony/charlatan. I still think he is the only anti-war hope. Everything else is neocon lite.
As to Ossoff, I saw Rich Baris on a pod a day or two before the midterms. You can hate Baris and Robert Barnes, but they nailed the whole thing (JD's reference in his tweet was about Baris). Now, Baris was focused on the midwest/Michigan when asked the question, but he said the threatening ticket for Dems is Ossoff/AOC. Said Rubio has no impact, the best bet is Vance and...wait for it...Tulsi. He didn't address Big Dick Ron, though.

It’s gay and superficial, but he looks to be a tiny dude and that may matter down the road.
But so far, he’s been impressive and has seemed to keep himself out of the really far left stuff. I made a thread on him a while back on what’s the worst thing about him and didn’t get much other than “he’s a Demoncrap”

Anytime a party wins an election they take it as a mandate when it almost never is. That's life.

I’m drinking right now bc of it.

You’re a retard beyond measure. That ad had zero impact outside of Ohio as I said it would despite your pathetic pearl clutching.
That you think it did is a great sign moving forward for America First, however. More evidence you twinks will focus on everything but the issues that actually created the environment that manifested Tuesday.

I got banned for saying mean things to Rohan or one of the other ankle biters. I had to sit out a few plays.
SFP also banned but the circumstances surrounding his are murkier.
I agree. She brings the far left and checks the DEI box for them. He’s in charge and he’s legit as far as I can see so far. Even AOC will tone down the woke as she’s already given a tacit mea culpa for women 1.0. They know it’s a loser and people rejected it as a governing principle.

Pretty accurate summary.
JD is donezo.
Rubio is also probably donezo.
The “deep bench” the GOP had evaporated over night.
If fetterman swapped parties, he’d be the most relatable personality in the GOP, which is great commentary on how much everyone sucks.

It didn’t matter until people paying attention in other states saw the President and Vice President defend it and realized, “oh yeah, frick these guys”.
It was probably heading that way regardless but it was such a visceral embodiment of the depravity they’d go to to win. And the desperation because they had no real accomplishment to run on.

I think this is the most dangerous thing we have to navigate for the next 2 years. Republicans ran attack ads about trannies and Dems were able to keep their noses clean of it. If they manage to focus on affordability and foreign policy rather than culture wars, we've got a hill to climb.
I saw a video of El Sayed engage with a pro-life student who asked why he should get his vote. Without ever saying some far left stuff, he was able to reframe the issue as proactive prevention of unwanted pregnancies rather than focus on abortion at all. That kind of political savvy can be lethal.

Ok. You’re wrong, but please continue to double down and make that ad the focus. I will even help accomplish this if you’d like.
Posted on 11/6/26 at 8:20 pm to lurking
He’s not wrong at all. It was retarded for Trump and jd to interject into that debacle.

El Sayed is a little too radioactive to bring in this thread but he’s going to be a force.
He spoke on Jews versus Israel recently on some talk show and I would bet you if I just showed you a transcript of what he said, 90% of people here would agree with him.

FWIW I’ve been hearing since before the election and reiterated since that dem leadership isn’t in favor of a trump impeachment but have agreement from republican leadership that they’re willing to make a couple sacrifices like Hegseth. We’ll see if that holds true but they don’t seem to want the distraction and according to Roth everyone is “exhausted” from years of fighting.
