re: Tucker Carlson: "The Israel lobby takes out Thomas Massie and kills MAGA"

Since the 2024 election, Massie is the second most likely Republican to vote with the Democrats. It's a matter of voting record, a fact. That's why Massie lost, period.

MAGA died almost immediately after the election. Other than the border and MAHA, this admin has been a total failure on every level. Trump has reversed on virtually every promise.

MAGA-boomerism lives on stronger than ever, but that's most of what is left.
Posted on 5/21/26 at 8:17 am to cajunangelle
My only question is why is anyone still watching and/or listening to Tucker Carlson?

MAGA is dead. It's just a bunch of duped or otherwise neo-cons wearing the corpse around while it still has brand value. (See 'Tea Party')
Agreed.
Whatever it was 2016-2024 it isn’t that anymore.
And I actually agree with Trump that as the founder and charismatic leader of that movement it’s his prerogative to pivot.
I just no longer identify with what he’s pivoted to anymore than I did the tea party once Paul Ryan showed that movement was actually just a rebranding of the GOPe.
The GOPe and neocon movement has a right to a place within the GOP coalition.
Same goes for “MAGA 2.0”.
I just disagree with many of their acrions and will actively oppose them in primaries any time I get the chance to.

you understand when you invoke this notion of boomerism it's a tacit admission that you've failed to launch and it's my generations fault.
which makes perfect sense for a generation that's been giving trophy's and ribbons for their failures!
that's not something to be proud of boy.

Apparently, when Trump's endorsed candidates lose....that's a L for Trump.
When his candidates win...also a L for Trump.
Pretty sweet gig for his opponents.
It's pretty incredible how many excuses have been given for Massie losing over the last couple days, except for his own actions.
- Jews
- Voters all changed after voting for him in 2020 (an SFP favorite). Not Massie.
- The Populists did it

Massie’s own actions lead to his defeat. There is no other explanation despite Tucker’s efforts at spin.
Keep on spewing Israel bad/muslims good Tucker. Not like you haven’t likely been compromised.

Can you acknowledge there is a difference between what the president campaigned on vs how he’s governed over the last year?
I mean that’s what this “divide” comes down to. It’s about core policy.
Many MAGA core voters either don’t think he’s altered course on his campaign policies or simply don’t care how that might impact or be viewed by the rest of the coalition.
If we can’t agree that a pivot has even taken place then there’s no point in talking to each other because you will just see this as some scheme to attack the president without substance while the other side feels both sold out on policy and attacked personally based on the president’s own statements regarding what anyone who doesn’t like what he’s doing should feel free to do.

No they didn’t. That’s a cop out that’s easily shown to be false.
I voted for Trump three times. Donated all three cycles despite it almost costing me my job with a liberal company after 2016.
So did all the political figures people on here have railed on for the last year like Tucker, MTG and others.
The Charlie Kirk / Tucker Carlson / AF wing all voted for him and were desperate to see him win but are currently pissed.
The president isn’t governing as he campaigned and some of his older base doesn’t care but his younger base sure as hell noticed and isn’t happy about it.
Feel free not to care but without those voters Kamala Harris is President right now and the DNC would control at least the house.
We will find out if the disaffected Trump voters from 2024 will turn out in numbers to win the midterms against a DNC platform most of the country doesn’t like.
If the gas prices don’t come down my guess is they won’t.

Do any of the Massie bros even care that Tucker is giving aid and comfort to islamists?
Those guys constantly cry about jews and how MAGA is dead, but then they breathlessly hang onto every word spewed by a guy supporting the group most responsible for terrorism in our country.
They hate rich jews having power so much that they are willing to ignore people that commit mass murder. It's a completely irrational point of view.
But at least they can blame boomers, I guess. The sad part is that they are too dumb to realize that is the exact same line used by all the young DEI and antifa losers for years.
Why is it that whenever anti-Trump conservatives complain about the right, they always mimic the left?
