He never said he would be voting Democrat. I left the Republican Party when our government locked up patriots and grandmothers peacefully protesting.
I still vote republican, as I view them as the lesser of the evils. I voted Trump because I viewed him as the lesser evil as compared to Hillary, Biden, or Kamala.

Well, he has become a bit self important of late.
Left and right both suck….no doubt….but the left is far worse/destructive and independent has no traction……so….

I mean, I stopped voting democrat in 2008 but I have never been a registered republican so technically, I'm not a republican either. Both parties are fricking awful.

Trump is not exactly a republican or a conservative. He just says shite that makes people feel good.

Who cares what he re-registers as? No matter how unhappy one may be with republicans and/or its party, one has to have TDS to vote for the other party…the democrat now called socialist party.

True MAGA are mostly independents
What is Trump's poll number with independents right now? Just curious

Unfortunately the Republican Party sucks (Thune, McConnell, lyin' Paul Ryan, Romney, the Bush family, the Cheney family, etc.).
However, Tucker the Sucker blows even more. He absolutely sold his soul to somebody. Good luck in the long-run with that, Tucker.

Well I left the Democrat Party in 2016 after years of being fed up with their listing off the Left side of the map, registered Independent, and have voted exclusively for Republicans (mostly) and Independents ever since.
I won't register as a Republican until they put their actions where their mouths are. They say all the right things, and I agree with the overwhelming majority of it, but when it comes down to it (SAVE Act, FISA, etc.) they vote with the Establishment Uniparty Swamp. Always. I can't associate with that.
And no one cares.
Like we don't care how Tucker claims to align. Basing it purely on track records of how the GOPe Congress votes, very few on this board should be registered Republicans. Still, I told my family I'll never vote for a Democrat again as long as I'm alive, since I'll be voting straight-ticket (D) for a hundred years after I'm dead.
