They are, unfortunately, much better workers than what this generation is pumping out, and their degree didn't come from Jackson State.
quote:I'll be retiring by then so the young people get what they want, and I will be living the good life. Sounds like a win/win. Both my children are basically socialist in their tendencies
The GOP won't exist in 10 years, the USA will be socialist, and their dumbass selfishness will be to blame. Ya'll cursed your grandchildren.

The H1Bs aren’t better workers than kids from here. They are cheaper and they are less likely to leave because they are slaves once over.
And they come with fake degrees. Once here they pool their money and buy small businesses.

That's your take. I've hired and managed many of our current generation. The most entitled, lazy group that I've come across in my lifetime. I have not hired any of the hb1 group, but I see them. They work. Also, those with advanced degrees are usually bright and hard workers. Look, there are plenty of good young people out there....but the loudest are usually the worst.

My children already told me that they won't give up their lives to work. That is the general mindset of the young voter this day. Meanwhile, they believe they are "entitled" to free health care, and more money.
I told them it doesn't work like that. I worked hard to get where I'm at so will enjoy my advantages while they consider my generation greedy ... I'm done with the young people in this country. Will never hire another one without an extensive interview process. Meanwhile, my foreign coworkers put their heads down and work with no complaints.

I hear ya man. That's all I meant by the earlier post. No one wants to hire them with the attitudes they have. I know I sure don't....and I'd love to hire people that just want a chance to prove themselves. Been burned multiple times. They want to do the bare minimum to get by and not get fired. Definitely not the type I'm looking for. I'm looking for someone that wants my job.

Just because you were a failure in raising your children doesn’t mean the rest of us were. You should be ashamed of yourself for your posts in this thread.

My children are thirty years old and have been making their decisions for years. It is the influence of their friends. The entire younger generation seems to have this attitude.
Drive a nice car, rent an apartment, and then complain they cannot afford a house. I'm tired of the complaints. I work an average of 50-60 hours a week, and have zero debt. I will be very well off when I do hang up my hat. I was on WIC when they were born. I know both sides of this equation.

Hopefully you don’t need their care one day. Sounds like they’d stick you in a nursing home.

So you owe at least some of your success to handouts and the generosity of others, but you begrudge young people asking for the same now.
I’m not going to lie, it doesn’t get much more boomer than this.

Generosity of others? A government program?
Regardless, if you’re for government handouts this is how it should work. A short term bit of help and then you grow into someone that pays every bit of that back and more because you’re working making money and paying taxes. It should not be a generational program that allows people to never contribute.

Dude don't worry about these losers. This is exhibit a on what is wrong with them. Instead of listening to people in the field doing the hiring, they instead just want to blame everything on boomer, and continue down the road to nowhere. Total different mind frame than when we were starting out. THAT is why they are unemployable.

and he worked his arse off to make something of himself obviously. Meanwhile, you losers bitch and whine blaming any and everybody else, especially boomers, for your failures...definitely not high value men material....instead of putting your head down and making something of yourself through sacrafice and sweat.
I'm not going to lie, it doesn't get much more of a loser than this.

You’re bragging about hiring the people who are bringing the downfall of our society. I don’t know what your previous username was but you should go ahead and start a new one after this embarrassment.

What’s your experience with H1Bs? You still have not explained that yet.
Posted on 8/22/26 at 1:11 pm to NIH
What’s yours? Are you still pretending to be a hospital executive? I would think someone with your “expertise” would know that the vast majority of foreign doctors and nurses still have to take additional courses and certifications to work in the US. They are just hired directly. I would also think someone with your “experience” would know that doctors are retiring at levels where they are not being replaced by medical schools, especially in specialty areas which is why you are seeing more and more NP’s at family practices and clinics. Surely, you are capable of reading this

I haven’t commented on H1Bs in the medical field at all. I have experienced them in corporate America, especially within IT.
