I'm not going to lie, it doesn't get much more of a loser than this.

lol. Nice knighting for him. I always question people who brag about how much they “work their arse off”. And why would you assume that I’m a loser or that I’m “blaming others” for something (I don’t know what you’re speculating about)? I’ve worked and still do, and I’ve never been on public assistance.

Generosity of others? A government program? Regardless, if you’re for government handouts this is how it should work. A short term bit of help and then you grow into someone that pays every bit of that back and more because you’re working making money and paying taxes. It should not be a generational program that allows people to never contribute.

Yes, the generosity of others. And what he’s doing is pulling up the same ladder that he himself used. Bitching and moaning about young people. Like I said, boomer mentality.

If you actually read the rest of the thread you would see the BLS and Pew Research post.

It’s a net increase and is not indicative of a replacement.

Roughly 90% of the job openings since 2020 have gone to foreign people.

The begin date is the beginning of the pandemic. So we know a lot of the job losses were temporary. Many were people who learned it’s easier and less stressful to just coast and let the government send them a check (speculation). Many were also foreign workers already. They were easy to dispose of from the payrolls. Once businesses were able to return to full operating status, the “new” hires are also composed of the status quo (they replaced other foreign workers).

The “90%” figure refers to the net increase in employment among foreign born workers since the pandemic era benchmark, not to 90% of job openings or proof that foreign-born workers replaced U.S. born workers. Since February 2020 includes the start of the COVID employment shock, the comparison includes the recovery of temporary pandemic job losses.

Foreign born workers were disproportionately affected early in the pandemic, so some of the later increase likely reflects their return to employment. But BLS data cannot determine whether individual workers were replaced, why someone lost a job, or whether a later hire replaced another foreign-born worker.

So after all of that, what is your actual position? Are you for or against Foreigners replacing Americans in the Tech Sector?

We have conservative influencers on X celebrating this Micron deal for Idaho, but they are the largest H1B employer in the State.

North Texas, where I live, has practically changed demographics in the last 10 years.

Most of us are against it. However, when you post very wrong statements…it hurts the argument.

Plano? I have found this to be overstated. I have a house in north Dallas. Nothing around me has changed. Certainly not a dramatic shift one way or the other.

Its so overstated that there's essentially a culture war in McKinney with the ex mayor and its constituency online. Frisco has changed demographics from single digits in early 2000's to now almost 33% of its population.

Edit: Also, to the statement that most are against it. I am not quite sure from the responses on this board on this topic.

My take is the correct take as I’ve had to work with H1Bers and their cousins and they all sucked dick at the highest level vs the interns from here.

It’s pretty easy to realize you can pay them less, offer shitty benefits and they are way more restricted on leaving whoever employs them.

It’s just a simple fact. Then you have it where our pathetic government is giving them access to loans and shite that citizens can’t get.

If these people were so fricking good they would be employed in their home country and their countries companies would be dick stomping us. They aren’t, they are just cheaper and essentially slaves.

There is a reason the largest accounting firms use offshore and H1B, they are about 1/10th or so the cost of using us employees. The problem is the work product is 1/100th it.

I want America First, all illegals deport until we are at 0, H1Bers booted back and put those that want to use offshoring at major disadvantages with eliminating ability to take tax credits and no access to gov grants.

I think you just proved his point about younger generations whining like a bunch of spoiled brats while ruining the country supporting nonsense and contributing squat.

These kids were handed a lamborghini of a country, they took the tires off, turned it into a homeless shelter......and then complained the govt wont give them bus fare to get to the store

I have a home in McKinney. In my experience…what you’re claiming is overstated. The McKinney issue was over the city council allowing a mosque to be built…right? I don’t spend much time out there anymore…but that’s what I heard.

Correct. The contention is coming from a petition to remove committee members after going against the will of the people. The ex mayor has threatened to dox/report people to their workplace if they signed it. Its real interesting stuff since you own property, you probably should look deeper into it.

I’ll look into it. However…when I’m in town I go to First McKinney. Have you seen the size of that place. It’s awesome. Not sure why people object to a mosque being built and what their legal basis for doing so is.

The muzzies don’t take over good established neighborhoods.

Would be interesting to see what the demographics were where they do take over.

Dearborn had to be a take over of poorer white hoods or poor black hoods.

No. Unfortunately.

They are a disease. Another virus eating away at the host. Just like dem socialists.

Just like Somalis.

And their calls to prayer can kiss my arse.

I may be the most harsh against their growth out of all of the invaders.
