Actually, I was on WIC after my daughter was born. Like I said. Pull up your bootstraps. Stop buying the latest phone, laptop, car, etc every few years. Pay off your credit cards. If still in financial difficulty then I will sympathize with you. If not, congrats. You are in a far better place than many of your generation. And I’m not a boomer. Still working 50-60 hours a week on average

Job requires 50-60 hours a week. I’m putting every dime into retirement investments these days. Still another ten years of work left in me unless the industry says otherwise.
