Read it again, "new jobs" is net gain, not the total number of jobs replaced and new.

The BLS cant even track who obtains a new position that is created.

If we have a hundred thousand new jobs in the US and there is an increase of 90K in foreign employment, heck all 90 thousand may have been replacing existing jobs and none took the new jobs.

While foreign born workers are increasing its not 90% of all "new" jobs. 114K h1b visas were issued last year and we had 20 million illegals enter the country under biden, where do you think all the foreign born workers are coming from?

I get the H-1B outrage. I really do. But if you guys do not want them here, should we recall the approx 6 million Americans who work overseas on Visa?

I would assume the additional counts are coming from OPT or H4 (spouse not the kids obv)

Well, at least your outrage is evenly applied. I must say that does not bode well for the freedom of those US citizens who choose to work abroad.

My son is in his junior year at UT studying mechanical engineering and aerodynamics and is involved in their Formula 1 race car program. He's not certain how many are foreign students, but his estimate of white Americans in the program is maybe only 35% with most of the majority being Jeets, Chinks, Koreans and (he's not sure) maybe a few Japs. No Hispanics that he's noticed and only a handful of Blacks.

That isn’t what he said at all. Your reading comprehension is piss poor for someone calling out grammar issues.

So can we agree that since the BLS is the defacto compiler of this information, the real number is 80%?

no. Lies, damn lies, and statistics. It’s less than 10% of all jobs. Which is still too high…but you sound silly saying 80-90% of all jobs went to foreigners.

regards the thread title "Trumps doj....."

all the data runs from 2020 to 2025, How about restricting the data reviewed to 2025-26 if you are looking for Trump accountability?

This is a complete losing topic for Trump.
He is absolutely not paying any attention to the core base that helped him win.

I contribute this to having a bad chief of staff that is good at campaigning but isn’t cut out for governing. Trump and republicans in general need to learn how to win the pr battle and trump needs to focus on domestic wins. H1B isn’t a domestic win at all, it’s a major loser. You can’t make America great again with foreign labor, just because that labor is cheaper and because companies love them because unlike Americans they can’t easily move to a competitor.

They work for less money AND benefits. Plus don't complain about 6-day weeks.

They're like mexicans but with degrees.

the OP references 4 years of Biden and 1 of Trump. Foreign workers have decreased since Trump took office. Tell us exactly how this is a complete losing topic for Trump?

It’s a losing topic because he isn’t deporting and ending it fast enough. It’s not so much just one thing but he and the right need to start heading this off and don’t make unforced errors like the Iran shite.

It’s a tough battle because we live in a headline society.

so there a million less now than before when he took office but it’s still a losing topic because it’s not more. Got it. Almost like Orange would be bad no matter what.

The GOP won't exist in 10 years, the USA will be socialist, and their dumbass selfishness will be to blame. Ya'll cursed your grandchildren.
