In a year where Americans have screamed as loud and clear as they can that affordability is the clear #1 issue by far, Trump responds with:

And straight up saying that he doesn't care about how gas prices are high (even arguing why it's a good thing), will make sure home prices don't come down, and having his VP talk about Americans being too wealthy because they can buy cheap shite from China.

It's extremely tone deaf.

What, exactly, has Trump done to preserve wealth for the elderly that has negatively affected those in their 30s?

Bunch of down votes, but not one of you attempted to answer this question.

The mainstream media's loyal following is down to 28% with Americans. Pretty much a cult following at this point as the OP proves.

I don't like talking to you because you are a doofus. The obvious answer is inflation. Older folks with real assets are somewhat protected. Those with no assets get hurt.

To be fair, most of what he has tried to do has been stonewalled by congress.

The RINOs had a mandate and did nothing with it.

The excuses keep getting thinner and more pifitul.

To suggest that the Republicans in Congress are stonewalling Trump is just dopey. Very rarely have members of Congress who are of the same party as the president been this afraid to cross the president or vote against the president. There was an old presidential tradition where presidents didn't endorse candidates in the primary. Trump ripped right through that. Brags about it when it's over. Corwyn voted with Trump 99 percent of the time and that still wasn't enough.

Oh no he may not win his 4th election

Good framing. It makes more sense why he's doing whatever he can to enrich himself blatantly and spitting in his voters' face.

He's gonna lose the house and senate, and be a lame duck the next two years. Not like it matters though, Trump never passes any legislation anyways

Investigations and impeachments guaranteed for the next 2 years. What a waste.

Not really.
A dollar in assets loses its value as inflation rises.
Generally speaking, people with assets and money want as little inflation as possible.
People without assets, cash-poor, and in debt want inflation.

That’s the most disappointing thing. Watching those vile leftists drag us around on another useless impeachment fishing expedition.

Ugh.

It's true. He over promises and under delivers. I never believed his grandiose stuff, but others did and they have the sads. But, I still wont vote dem.

I suspect this is where most of us are.

Good Trump = America survives leftist onslaught.
Bad Trump = potentially scares away the few actual independents left.

This dude can be dead and burried, the left is so frick ate up with TDS they would find something frick hang on him, whats the left gonna actually do when he's really dead they gonna be like lost children

They are going to go after anyone ever associated with him. The problem is the majority of Trump voters no longer have their backs, for whatever that is actually worth. Think about this difference in ferocious support at the end of term 1, and where that will likely be at then end of term 2.
