Trump's approval rating is up to 44% in RCP....not great, but it is steadily rising since the new year. It is rising at same time the stormy stuff has come up. 44% is no longer historically bad, either. Carter and Ford were at worse spots at this point, while reagan was in a similar spot as trump. 44% means you have a decent chance at reelection if enough people who dislike you dislike the other person more.

Yep. That is what they do. I really wish the media could go back to reporting the news. (If they ever really did.
