It's about the independents. I thought that was obvious to anyone with any sense of politics?

I love how people assume he paid her off because he was running for president and didn't want anyone to know. There is another explanation that gets completely overlooked.....He didn't want his wife to know. I also seriously doubt he wanted her to know he fricked some porn slut by admitting to it before boarding Air Force 1

also, can you show us some evidence that Trump is losing ground with independents or that they even give a shite about this issue?

I can't deny what you're saying, man. There is SO much chaos with this administration that a $130k payment to a porn star to keep quiet about fricking the republican nominee for POTUS less than a month before the election is nothing more than a blip on the radar screen. Think about that....really. This would be all over the news every fricking day and a typical president would likely face at least a vote for impeachment. With Trump, he's SOOOOO full of shite and such an unethical man that no one thinks twice about this story.
This is pure hyperbole.

It would be an embarrassment to our institutions if a president is removed for something like that, and would be terrible for democracy.

his support over the past 2 weeks has doubled with Black Americans.

Black male support for President Donald Trump doubled in just one week, according to a Reuters poll on presidential approval.

A poll taken on April 22, 2018 had Trump’s approval rating among black men at 11 percent, while the same poll on April 29, 2018 pegged the approval rating at 22 percent.

Trump experienced a similar jump in approval among black people overall, spiking from 8.9 percent on April 22 to 16.5 percent on April 29.

His support with 18-34 year olds has caused the dems to slip 9 points.

16,000 registered voters ages 18 to 34 shows their support for Democrats over Republicans for Congress slipped by about 9 percentage points over the past two years, to 46 percent overall. And they increasingly say the Republican Party is a better steward of the economy.

In that 18-34 age bracket, white support has flipped. He is almost at 50% while the dems sit closer to 30% .

The shift was especially dramatic among young white men, who two years ago favored Democrats but now say they favor Republicans over Democrats by a margin of 46 to 37 percent, the Reuters/Ipsos poll showed.

Did you forget that Mueller has Cohen's records.

If Mueller has cohens records, then thats gonna be a problem. That would mean mueller referred Cohen to sdny, so that sdny could raid his property, and then funnel info back to him,- since the Cohen stuff was out of the “scope of the investigation” for mueller.
I don't understand. A problem for who?

Cohen is the one under investigation by the NY FBI
It's a technicality, but Mueller does not have Cohen's records.

Rasmussen is the ONLY poll to have him that high and have always been the highest throughout his presidency. One poll doesn't provide consensus.

Again, according to one poll, this time Reuters, you think black support has doubled. No consensus. Not to mention, you (or the Daily Caller, if you prefer) cite two different numbers for the 4/22 poll....11 and 8.9.

You failed to note that support for the GOP amongst 18-34yo stayed relatively static, moving from 28% support to 29% support. While the dems did lose 9% in the survey, they didn't go to the GOP.

So, like I was saying, don't treat me like a fricking idiot.

What? I didn't say anything about when he fricked her. I believe it was, what, like 2006? I said that he paid her off one month before the election.

I agree with most of this.....but the point is that trump's approvals are definitely on the rise dude. They went from historically bad to mediocre.

Monmoth had a A rating from 538. Among RV, he is at 45-48 approve/disapprove. That isn't bad, imo. It is not good, but it is not bad either.

JJDOC....here's your big chance to go global!! The New York Times has reported that Guliani contradicted Trump!! Those ignorant bastards...they dont know shite about literary terms. Go educate those fools!! Your intellect far exceeds any of those leftist hacks. Show them who's boss. This is your big chance!!! We are all rooting for you!!! LINK Dont ever say I didn't contribute to your big break. Literary police...ASSEMBLE!!!!!

President Trump reimbursed Michael Cohen, his longtime lawyer, for the payment made to a pornographic actress, according to Rudolph W. Giuliani, one of the president’s lawyers. The statement contradicts Mr. Trump.
Mr. Giuliani told The Times that he had spoken with the president before and after his interview on Fox News, and that Mr. Trump was aware of what he would say.

Oh yeah....and hey motherfricker...I'd say that is case won. You can always appeal. (Dipshit)

No. They have not had him at that level through out.

Most accurate poll in 2016.

On its final poll released Nov. 7, the day before Election Day, Rasmussen had Hillary Clinton up 2 points on Donald Trump. Clinton won the popular vote by 1 percentage point, even though Donald Trump beat her on electoral votes.

No other pollster tracked by RealClearPolitics came as close to the final results.

"The media created a false narrative about the 2016 presidential campaign, and most polling reinforced it," Rasmussen wrote on its website Thursday. "Our polling showed that issues, not the media-fed controversies, would ultimately decide the election."

This was calculated. Trump and team knew the FBI confirmed his lie and on a long enough timeline it was going to come out. They are just getting ahead of it. Swamp style.

Rasmussen is a right-leaning poll. That just happened to work in their favor in the 2016 election with the late undecideds falling to Trump.

Rasmussen says their polls are taken of "likely voters", but they have steadfastly refused to provide the methodology by which they determine who are those "likely to vote".

It's Voodoo polling.

No...I am hopeful the repayment was after April 6. If not, then...well...Trump told a lie. But zi dont think it matters, because Trump has delivered in a major way imo. But, more importantly....there was no contradiction, because Jjdoc said that such was not a contradiction. And he is very smart...according to him.

Case closed....

Did you even read it? Better yet, did you stay up this late waiting for somebody else to lay out your case for you?

Here... let me help you with the paragraphs:

quote:

Mr. Trump said, “No,” and referred questions to Mr. Cohen. He was then asked, “Do you know where he got the money to make that payment?” “No,” Mr. Trump responded. “I don’t know.”

No lies in that or contradictions with what Rudy stated here:

quote:

Mr. Giuliani said that he was “not clear that” Mr. Trump was aware of the payments to Ms. Clifford at the time they were made, and he said that his understanding was that the president did not learn about the payments to her until recently. “I don’t think he did” know “until now,” Mr. Giuliani said.

More over they flat out lie again in the article...

quote:

Mr. Giuliani’s comments are also in direct contrast to what Mr. Cohen has been saying for months — that he used his own money to pay Ms. Clifford,

No it doesn't. Here are the words:

quote:

“Some time after the campaign is over, they set up a reimbursement, $35,000 a month, out of his personal family account,” Mr. Giuliani said, adding that over all, Mr. Cohen was paid $460,000 or $470,000 from Mr. Trump through those payments, including for “incidental expenses” that he had incurred on Mr. Trump’s behalf.

I bet you don't see it do you.
