Makes sense. Fentanyl deaths are going down as weed becomes legalized.

Wait…

Seems pretty reasonable to me.

If Mexico can't handle their business and their inaction is helping to bring the ruination of our country, how could you blame someone for taking substantive action?

It's not war with the country of Mexico, it's a targeted strike of a known foreign enemy (the cartels).

What we are doing now sure isn't working...

ok so you set that precedent then what is stopping a Democrat from getting elected and saying.....well we cant handle our business here so its ok if cuba lobs missles at miami?

frick that. the president isnt king, i dont care who it is. We should be following the constition and not a temporary order and all military action should require congressional approval.

and in the end all you would do is just create a power vacuum that would be filled with someone just or more violent.

Do i think all them mother frickers should die and burn in hell? absolutely but you cant let emotion guide your decisions. They have to be based on logic and consequences of actions. Killing them is a temporary solution to the problem.

shutting the border down and locking it down is the number 1 thing that has to be done to stop the flow.

After that you have to start enforcing law and order here. you start that by doing exactly what trump did last time

1) get the economy going
2) enforcing law and order

from a law perspective, in general drugs should be a states rights issue but illegal importation should be enforced by the feds.

but unless you close the border and honestly militirize it, wasting time.

and yes it is a strike on mexico.

how would you feel if an american citizen burned the quran and iran performed a targetted missle strike on him on american soil? (i know iran is not capable, its theoretical)

The evil Orange Man also wanted to send 250K troops to the border to stem the flow of illegal crossings. Somehow, according to Esper (who was flabbergasted), this was a bad thing.

quote:

Former Defense Secretary Mark Esper said he was 'flabbergasted' but a proposal to send 250,000 troops to the U.S.-Mexico border while he was serving in former President Donald Trump's Cabinet.

In a sit-down with 60 Minutes set to air Sunday, Esper revealed that it was Trump adviser Stephen Miller - an anti-immigration hardliner - who floated the plan, claiming that a large caravan of migrants was en route.

'I think he's joking,' Esper told CBS' Norah O'Donnell. 'And then I turn around and I look at him in these deadpan eyes. It's clear that he is not joking. And I say something like, "Well, look, DHS can handle whatever caravans are coming up. They've done so in the past."'

Does he remember how we immediately stopped the flow of illegals after 9/11 by positioning troops on the border?

quote:

'He said - he repeats - "No, we need a quarter-million troops." And I just turned squarely around him, face him and say, "I don't have a quarter-million troops to send on some ridiculous mission to the border,' Esper recalled.

So sending America troops to protect the American homeland is a "ridiculous mission?"

The President and Congresses ultimate duty is to the citizens of the United States of America. Based upon the current leading cause of death from 18 to 44 years old is fentanyl over doses…..I would submit the cartels are a “clear and present danger”. Somebody needs to do something. It isn’t just enforcing the border. We need to create a power vacuum in the 9 major cartels and watch the feeding frenzy. Rinse and repeat until those dumbfricks get the message that running a cartel = hellfire deaths

Bamarep reminder:

There has been enough fentanyl smuggled into this country to kill every human in the country twice.

What are they doing with it?

What? I'm not sure what you are saying son. Are you saying I can't buy it today from China and have it delivered to my home?

The mexican cartels are controlled from Langley, most people don't understand that mexican governments have been mostly Washington's puppets, with a few "unlucky" exceptions.

And the idiot Esper thinks sober-minded Americans will be appalled and outraged when he reveals this atrocity in his new Book.

Only question remaining is WHETHER people like Esper will be held accountable for the massive damage to our Nation's prosperity and security. Plausible Deniability? Yeah, that 's bs. The Left conspires to END ("fundamentally change") our Constitutional Republic and the Idea that our Rights come from God, and not the whims of a majority or the dictates of some supposedly altruistic group of elites with assumed greater wisdom.

Confrontation brewing. This time next year it'll be on.

We can agree to disagree but I believe you are dead wrong.

The influx of drugs and criminal activity from Mexico is real and action needs to be taken.

Securing the border is a a big part of that. But cutting the head of the snake is important also.

The drug problem is a problem that begins with the cartels in Mexico.

Snuff them out by any means necessary.
