In 2020, Trump had an AGI of NEGATIVE $4.8 million (he lost money). As such, he would not legally be entitled to deduct ANY charitable donations, and he cannot legally even LIST non-deductible charitable donations on Schedule A … even if he MADE such donations in a sum of eleventy billion dollars.
Correct…given his past returns. Is it likely he took the 400k or not?
Also…is it likely he is a grifter trolling for donations given his losses?

Ok. Let’s see if I can simplify whether Trump donated his 2020 salary.
WTF are you doing?

If you are asking whether he accepted (fricking Siri just cannot understand a Texas accent. Every time I say the word accept, she types except) the salary, then donated it, I admit to being a little confused.
The salary is supposed to be $400,000 per year, but he seems to be claiming only $393,000 (and change) in W-2 salary income each year. Odd. I have not yet found the W-2 to support the $393k figure, but I have not yet even skimmed all 500 pages. If you have a link to just the W-2 forms, I would love to look at them.
I have not yet taken the time to check the Schedules A for each year. Honestly, I probably will not do so. As I expected, there is nothing glaringly-awful about these returns, looking just at the 1040 forms.
EDIT
The post from your boy NC_Tigah demonstrates the point that you and I were discussing yesterday. The same can be said of the overwhelming downvote ratio on a series of posts in which I refuted the anti-Trump claims of the OP.
Look at it. My post is DV 0:4. You agree with it and are UV 4:0.

WTF are you doing?
A 20 year tax attorney with an LLM says that my summary is spot-on, yet you think it is emoji-funny.
No offense, but there’s little doubt in my mind as to which of you has an opinion worth considering. Let’s just be kind and say that I think my post went a little bit over your head, which is sad … given that I tried to write it to be comprehensible by a fifth grader.

Has he been “grifting” post-election? Depends upon definitions. I think he is just trying to stay in the public eye and in the minds if his ardent supporters.

He returned it and didn't take the charitable donation. if he would have deducted it you would be here saying he saved on taxes while claiming he "didnt take any salary"
make up your mind.
make up your mind.

As a presidential candidate in 2015, Mr. Trump said he would not take "even one dollar" of the $400,000 salary that comes with the job. "I am totally giving up my salary if I become president," he said.
In his first three years in office, Mr. Trump said he donated his salary quarterly. But in 2020, his last full year in office, the documents show that Mr. Trump reported $0 in charitable giving.
So you all squaking that Trump donated his salary got bamboozled once again. Why you guys think he is not a liar is beyond me
Which of this is a crime???
For f***s sake you guys cant find a crime so now you're bitching about him not donating $400k out of the $1.6m he pledged on a non-binding basis.
GET THE SAND OUT OF YOUR VAGINE AND GET A LIFE DOOD

He’s given enough to this country. Think of the tax breaks he gave. That’s magnitudes more charitable giving than any democrat.

The point that the OP is trying to make is that Trump lied, not that he committed a felony.
But the OP’s problem is that the 2020 tax return does not prove that Trump lied.
