And just like that this country goes 80/20 right/left.

Why do we have states anymore. Just let everything be centrally planned through DC.
I want less federal government in my life. This makes a lot more.

- Peter Bernegger's post anticipates an executive order from President Trump to restrict mail-in ballots and voting machines before 2026 midterms, echoing Trump's August 2025 Truth Social vow, though no such order exists as of January 2026 per White House archives and Reuters reporting.
- Constitutional scholars from PBS and Northeastern University note executive orders cannot supersede state election authority under Article I, Section 4, predicting swift legal challenges similar to blocked 2020 voting suits.
- A 2020 MIT election data analysis found mail-in fraud at 0.00006%—lower than in-person errors—while U.S. Census data shows mail voting enabled 46% of 2020 participation, aiding accessibility for disabled and rural voters.
I was gonna post this yesterday but found out it’s from August

I'd love to see electronic voting machines go away as well as non-absentee mail-in voting go away, but the EO would be unconstitutional. Congress would need to pass an amendment and have the states approve it.

I'm looking forward to it happening before midterms.

While I agree with the idea of getting rid of mail-in ballots - the Courts are going to strike this down with a quickness. The states control election processes, not the federal government

He needs to try an EO requiring irrefutable proof each voter in a federal election is indeed a US citizen. Mabye even challenge Democratic Socialist congressional district apportionments due to the fact there are generally millions of illegals who are being included in the census for apportionment.

Maybe they can bring up Epstein again as if anybody cares
Maybe MTG and Masshole will read the names if the DOJ doesn't release them on December 19th 2025. Oh wait....that's come and gone.

I recall a time when the Trumpers were against the federal government dictating rules in elections, that are run by the states
As a Trumper, I've always considered allowing democrat states to steal elections to be a bad thing.
I'm also pretty sure most Trumpers have always been against motor voter registration and mass mail in ballots.
Your side accuses us of wanting stricter voting laws all the time, but now you're trying to pretend that we really wanted unrestricted voting rules all along.
Maybe you can prove me wrong and link to a few posts of Trumpers supporting mass mail in ballots in democrat states.

Even with your questionable framing, yes.
We don't have national elections in the US.
Congressional elections? Limited within states
Senate elections? Limited within states
Presidential elections? You vote for the EC within a state.
Even the Amendment process is focused through state-based or stat-elected reps. There is no national referendum.
Yes, elections are run through states. But no, that does not make fraud a protected “states’ rights” issue in any meaningful sense. States control the process. They do not control the legitimacy of federal outcomes. That authority ultimately sits with Congress, with courts stepping in only on specific legal violations along the way.

It would be litigated to death and no way it would make it all the way through the system before the midterms. And no, I am not a lawyer but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express in 2001.

We just won the midterms. Panicians will have to move on to something else I guess. Maybe they can bring up Epstein again as if anybody cares
So, what happens when Blue States ignore it?

Honest question, why shouldn’t people care about Epstein?
