Yeah. That's not how most war works. The winning side doesn't just stop in the middle, give everything back and just go home. Normally won't end until the losing side concedes in some way. Ukraine would probably have to concede the territory they lost. It's not a bad loss considering without our support and with Europe mainly just virtue signaling, Ukraine stands to potentially lose a lot more land...and even Kiev could be at risk if the war continues.
Admitting defeat now.. would allow Ukraine to remain mostly intact... and their citizens the chance to finally live in peace after years of war.

I guess Biden should have done something to deter this and Obama before him. Ukraine is corrupt and Zelensky is a POS that has stabbed Trump in the back numerous times. If you're not involved in Ukranian money laundering schemes, we have no use or loyalty to them.

My guess is a civil war is in Ukraine's future because part of the reason Zelensky backed off as soon as he got back to Ukraine was because a sizable number of the power brokers in his government do not want a deal.
So I would say we could move to help such a coup to happen but I don't think the other side is going to forget and they will be looking to knife these people sooner rather than later.

That’s good.
I’m sure there are few different opposition parties in Ukraine and we need to meet with all parties.
It will be good to get the perspective of every party and party leaders.
Just like the US not everyone in the Ukraine feels the same about politics or how they feel about the war.
It surprised me the opposition doesn’t want elections.
