For those angry about last night, your anger is likely misplaced. Are Democrats the answer? No! But what gave any voter a reason to actually vote for Republicans this cycle instead of “against the other guy”, not to mention a vote for someone aligned with Trump?

Trump 47 promised lower prices, no foreign wars and clean up of government waste and fraud. What did we get instead?

Ridiculous tariffs that increased further prices and the cost of living for all Americans, a debacle of a Middle Eastern war where he snatched defeat from the jaws of victory early on, and a very public falling out with Elon which stopped DOGE in its tracks.

America first? Maybe if you’re the Trump family and have been making money on AI stock trades, meme coins and Middle Eastern business deals during all of this.

Iran is what sunk him. It is the first topic with him being president in six years that I have heard truly devout Trump supporters turn against him. I voted for the man three times and I am absolutely disgusted by Iran. I wanted a president who thought about the American people and only the American people.

The problem is how can someone be motivated to vote Trump when those very voters gave him two terms and outside of the border, he’s gone against almost every campaign promise? It’s not too surprising why many MAGA voters would sit it out, especially when so many people vote with their wallets in mind.

MAGA voted. The other Republicans and indies y'all sneered at voted against him or stayed home.

How is that contempt working out for you?

Rush Limbaugh was right, he said the only person who could break the bond between Trump and his voter was Trump.

So, they voted for the Party that wants to end fossil fuels and made money laundering an art form.

Not a great plan…

Nah, thank the RINOs. They did absolutely nothing with both houses. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING by design.

Tariffs have manufacturing coming back in a big way. Won’t be realized for a couple years.

Iran is neutralized. The world’s foremost sponsor of terror. No other administration had the balls to do it.

The border is (was) closed.

The American electorate is more uneducated than I feared.

This is how politics works. You can bury your head in the sand and ignore it, or you can acknowledge it and win future elections. The red wave after Obamacare was 100% a referendum on Obama and 0% about the policy of Rs - they just needed to say we are not Obama to win. 2026 was no different.

I think Trump just like many others didn't think affordability was as big of an issue as it is. It's astonishing to me is the number of people in the media and even on here that are still questioning it,

Disagree. His messaging freaking sucked and that is what sunk him.

He allowed the left the dictate what they said was happening.

Trump is a buffoon.

You’re absolutely correct. I hope we learn from this and come back better. I hope we can still vote our way back.

I agree with this great summary of Trump. It just really sucks that the Democrat Party is the way it is now.

Hopefully it’s not too late but it really probably isn’t. The same pendulum after Biden that led to such amazing success for Trump in areas like the Hispanic vote in Texas, Miami-Dade, and normally Democratic voting counties in New Jersey show that it’s likely things will swing the other way in the near future.

This isn’t directed at you, but it would’ve been nice to have all of this anger directed at Trump after 2022. Voters should’ve been motivated to put him out to pasture then.

Absolutely. The boot lickers on this board - you homos know who you are - completely discounted this fact plus the Epstein debacle. And also, it seemed like 75% of what the admin has done was just for theatrics. From the X posts by the White House to the Kristi Noem larping as the head of Homeland Security while her husband put on fake boobs.

There were grown men on this board - FLTech, BoarEd, DeBoar, and others - who worship every X post or AI video that would be posted by Trump and his allies.

CROW NOW YOU SUNZABITCHES HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Correct.

To quote Matt Walsh, I’d rather that Iran had a nuke than my country become communist.
