According to you he's on Trump's side now yet he just voted against Trump's approved CR.

Oops...

So did Nancy Mace.

As I said, Trump was elected on a mandate and the House and Senate need to get in line and vote with him regardless of any concerns they might have about his policies. The renegades need to go.

Yes, that one doesn't make sense to me.
Me either.

I've wondered if....

A) Roy is saying one thing but doing another. Heritage Action says no, gives him a 97% score (vs. 75% avg. R)

B) Is he at odds against some R or MAGA because he's breaking ranks because of his constituents [I'm perfectly fine with this]. And he has a wierd district that would explain this... Fredricksburg isn't a MAGA hotbed, but it isn't liberal either but parts stretch into both Austin & San Antonio suburbs making him "unsafe" in any given election.

C) Is this just personal, presumably on Trump's part because I rarely hear Roy speak against Trump himself (just policies occasionally); but at same time he doesn't have the platform Trump does either. There's something behind closed doors.

I is it all 3.

Since I'm not sure what the deal is I'll go with my gut... my gut says I wish Trump would just leave this one alone. Go after eyepatch McCain if you want to pick a fight with a TX republican.

Yeah, he's setup to fail with the gerrymandering. Don't get me wrong, to the best of my knowledge those parts of SA and Austin aren't the barrio (well, maybe in SA)... but they are still SA & Austin nonetheless.

His district and elections are the opposite of AOC's- a cup of water with a D as S&P Nancy put it.

When did Trump run on negoting for a higher debt ceiling by negotiation for higher spending? Link?
