While we are at it lets throughly reevaluate what can be purchased using SNAP. If you want candy, soda, chips, and junk food than it needs to be on your own dime. Also meat should be limited.

This is sneaky in a good way. I didn’t even think of voting for this but I’ll take it. I like it.

Absolutely yes! The states must be forced to clean this program up.

Widespread fraud?
There are federal and state criminal laws against SNAP fraud.
If there is widespread fraud, then where are the widespread arrests?
You'd have to arrest millions. This is way more effective and efficient

As long as the same dss employees are there, it won't matter. A lot of those assholes give people advice on how to exploit the system.

Downside... the same bureaucrats that turned a blind eye to the rampant fraud will be reviewing these reapplications.
Upside - these people gonna need IDs.

What happened to just giving them food ? Not money to buy food. Just a box of beans an rice ?

Court injunction incoming against Trump.....because people on SNAP can't be asked to use a computer or fill out paper forms or something like that.
They filled it out once already. They got no excuse.

No, it's going to be the same, eligibility for SNAP is determined by the states, this is much ado about nothing.
What do the states have to do to get the fed money? That's where changes can get made to make sure states make the right changes.

This is a large part of the problem. I once looked up the states with the highest percentage of total recipients who were on long term SS benes. Top two Cali and NY.
Who is issuing CDLs to illegals who cant speak english...same.
And I have no doubt they will have the worst fraud with food stamps.
Of the states that did submit their lists to the feds (all red) 29 of them, they found 700K cases of fraud. The other states would not submit and two sued the fed govt for even asking. Can you imagine the fraud in the other 21.

On a sidenote regarding Guam.....
They say its the military legacy from WW2.

You Nancys throw a shite fit when ONE skin peddling, drug trafficking, illegally entering Alien gets arrested. What will you do when 3 of your 4 neighbors are arrested for SNAP fraud? GMFB, you people are a joke.
