If taken for even a single month, barbiturates can cause addiction and tolerance in the brain, which can lead to very serious symptoms of withdrawal. Withdrawal from barbiturates can be deadly.

If you think leftist cities are the way the are becuase of cannibis use you sir are a dummy.
Funny watching my boomer family. Cannibis has always been "dope" and oly bad things happen. Reefer madness.
Now we have a dispensary in every medium size town in Arkansas, and there has been no negative effects from it. NONE. No increase in crime, car wrecks ect. Just people going to the stores getting their weed and going home. And they just refuse to see it.

I wouldn't brag about long term psychosis as being a positive either.. Just that it’s apples to oranges to compare it to liver disease.

Substance abuse of any kind is the result of a troubled soul. Share the Gospel.

You punish the individuals who can’t handle it, and you leave alone the ones who can. Driving high or drunk isn’t the danger: swerving, changing lanes without signaling, following too closely, driving without lights on late at night, driving WAY under the speed limit or stopped in travel lanes without hazard lights on, running stop signs/red lights, or driving in the wrong lane is the dangerous condition that causes accidents. Those actions are dangerous regardless of intoxication. They should be punished regardless of intoxication.
Does someone getting drunk and murdering someone commit a greater or lesser offense than a sober person who murders someone? No. They’re both murderers, and both deserve to be removed from society.
Most people can smoke a little pot, drink a little booze, and still be functional members of society with careers, marriages, families, and safe operation of motor vehicles. Some people can’t do these things sober. Let’s focus on punishing the anti-social behavior rather than blaming the most common intoxicants in the world.

In all for legalization, but only if they make the edibles legal while passing draconian punishment for smoking or vaping it in public. I’m beyond tired of having to smell the skunk-like stench of pot whenever I have to go into the city.

Odd how there are no actual reports of death from barbiturate withdrawal. Just lots of "could causes".
Let's say you find one or two. Let's now compare that to deaths attributed to alcohol withdrawal.
quote:
Strike two.
A rarely abused drug with the *potential" to be fatal, with again no evidence of actual death due to withdrawal from abuse, just "could happens".
quote:
No, I have the same three.
No, you have one. That is still far less common than fatalities associated with alcohol withdrawal.
But go google some more that doesn't actual support your premise in any way I guess.
And let's not stray from the fact your entire response to me was because I maintained that withdrawal symptoms from alcohol abuse are far, far more dangerous than smoking too much weed.
But go pound another fifth and think there's nothing wrong with that because it's legal baw. What the frick do I know about it anyway?

I find that I can reach into my physical and spiritual well-being by just exercising and enjoying the endorphins. Actually, lasts a few days and its
free.
free.

WHy am I a boomer? Because i recognize that pot isn't this magical drug that is great and has no downside? The problem with you militant pot enthusiasts, is you are not honest. You can't admit that pot is harmful. Just because Alcohol is legal and pot is not, doesn't take away from the fact that BOTH are harmful to you.
Plastic is harmful to you and considering more people use it than alcohol and weed, it's a bigger issue. If we are having honest discussions here.
People shouldn't spend years in a cell for having personal weed on them.

I think it should be fully legal, but this is a good move

Naw. It should still be scheduled.
Also, potheads should be in jail. Just to keep them confused.

If you think weed should be illegal, you should also think alcohol should be illegal. Along with drug abuse of any kind.
Otherwise you're hypocritical as frick.

Man, pot cures cancer. And all kinds of stuff.
And sometimes it makes you throw up for hours on end. And take scalding hot showers.
But my grandma took some gummies and never had a seizure again.

You potheads need to chill. Smoke your pot. Just quit trying to make everyone pretend that it’s some miracle drug.

I don't smoke weed. I just want people to be consistent in their beliefs.
This crusade against weed while seeing nothing wrong with alcohol being legal is odd.

The crusade to pretend pot is medicinal is equally odd.

Since my doctor put my wife on medical marijuana she hasn't had a seizure. Its been almost 2 years. The doctors she had before almost killed her with the medications they had her on and she was still having seizures on a fairly regular basis.
