Lol oh wait a minute, how exactly did you arrive at Trump, just himself alone, being able to shut down everything and every place - except for Florida? I mean, however Florida was able to do its own thing, wouldn’t it make sense that other states probably could’ve gone that same route?

I don’t hate Trump. I think he made a mistake.
Did you even read the post to which I was responding?
The point is that he didn’t have to force through a vaccine without long term safety data to open the economy.
He could’ve just left everything open.
Trying to retroactively give him a win for pushing an unsafe vaccine by saying the alternative was indefinitely closing the economy is nuts.
If you want to blame Fauci fine, he clearly lied and for that he should’ve been prosecuted and hasn’t.
It doesn’t make Trumps decision correct.

I called him out on it every day and told everyone not to get it, and knew what was going down the whole time, and my posts were on here and every Social Media platform. I was banned on every platform, except here, so I do appreciate this site.

That is accurate but also disingenuous at the same time. I am not saying he would or would not have mandated the vaccine, but he never had the opportunity. The first vaccines didn't become available until Dec of 2020, when he was already a lame duck, and all those vaccines were limited to old people and people with significant co-morbidities who were willingly sucking up the whole supply. Vaccines weren't available to everyone until April of 2021, well after he left office.
While is true he never made any COVID vaccination mandatory, he could not have done that during his first term, which is an important distinction since you can't know what he would or would not have done in the situation, we can only guess.

He had plenty of “opportunity” to do widespread federal government mandated vaccines had he wished. States had time to get that together and going, so without a doubt Trump could have at least got it started. As I recall he was never vague or ambiguous about his total opposition to government mandates re: the vaccine. Of course he properly stayed out of the states’ way, as most of us would agree worked out in Florida. Trump: “no federal government mandate, but states I guess do what you will under your state authority, but just know you suck if you mandate the vaccine”……in a nutshell.
