On the surface I can support this...

This was predictable, especially with Vance and now with Walz

Lots of talk over the last 24 hours on post-lib circles that the Trump campaign needs to really hit the gas on the family-centric populism with Walz coming into the campaign (I don't think Walz is at all family-centric but they're going o paint him as a family focused populist).

So this is a good start, although I don't like IVF as the centerpiece of it (it probably isn't, but it is in the OP).

so needed especially as we have essentially forced an entire generation to wait until late 20s and early 30s to even start trying, there are so many complications that can happen.

We have the science and medicine to solve for it but it’s so expensive to do IVF and to even adopt. With our currrent birth rates, that’s where tax dollars need to be going, to grow families from middle class families

I just wanted to take the opportunity here and steal the left's sloganeering "reproductive rights" and redefine things like they do all the time.

Your title had me worried until I saw the whole thing

That includes supporting the availability of fertility treatments like IVF in every state in America.

I know, and it's defensive

I want to go on offense and fast before we get beat to it with Walz holding a town hall on maternity leave, etc.

It's so freaking difficult when Kamala has 90% of the Legacy Media and 80% Big Tech and Trump just has Fox News, some right wing programing, X, TS and TD. The Legacy Media is blitzing us with bull shite right now. Unfortunately Team Trump is going to have to get gimmicky like JD did on the tarmac today.

I accept that

But let's put the policy out there and then worry about how to get it to the people with a hostile press running interference

GOP needs to be the pro family party

Tax cut for married families
Bigger tax cut if you have kids
Vouchers for school
Trade programs in every public school
Set after skill programs the lead to job or military service in the inner city
First time home buyer programs for families

because killing children while accurate, is telling the truth about what happens and that just wouldn’t do

I came to post this as well. They are insufferable with all the word games.

Shouldn't this be a state's issue? Like abortion?
