I’ve never liked our involvement and just because it’d be DJT doesn’t change that for me.

Oh shite I knew he'd backtrack on this also. Damn, this has been 4 really bad months for Repubs.

I guess you missed the last 4 years, the election and the fact the democrats have taken the side of every terrible issue ending in them propping up gang members, terrorists, and two shite bags that executed people.

There is no substitute for Decisive Victory over the Enemy, and we must be prepared to bear any burden and pay any price as we seek to achieve this noble objective.

Meanwhile it looks like those Russia attacks this weekend were not a one off. They are preparing something big

Well, those particular planes aren't going to Magnitogorsk (otherwise known as Tankograd).

However, that particular path leads over the most important towns in their S military (Siberian) district: Tyumen (missile command), Chelyabinsk (arms and research), Omsk (coal and steel), and the Novosibirsk (oil and gas).

And, if you go far enough east on that general path (with refueling) you will end up at Kondyor Massif. That's Putin's personal platinum mine hidden within the corporation of Norilsk which was one 'corporations' that emerged from the MVD gulags.

But, because of all above... 6 cargo planes (people are cargo too) flying that path are nothing. If I had to guess it is an early summer run to bases after a long hard winter. Probably command rotations.

You guys never thought Trump would do this. If true, you have to be disappointed. Whom will you support now?

Considering the fact that I'm a republican, yes it's bad for me as well. Trump is really starting to disappoint.

Your language suggested otherwise. Nevertheless, considering the fact that Trump's every attempt at reform has been opposed by the judicial branch, more than half of the legislative branch (100% of the D's), and the vast majority of mainstream media reporting, I'd say our country is continuing to disappoint. Which branch of government would you like Trump to overthrow first to achieve his stated goals?

I don't like politicians, don't consider myself a Republican and haven't voted in quite a while (for lack of convincing choices), but I've given Trump the benefit of the doubt because Biden's term convinced me the Democrats are not acting in the best interests of the USA. The fact that the establishment Republicans have proven they aren't either is what disappoints me. Honestly, if Trump is acting in good faith, he should declare war on the Republicans in Congress, take it to their voters. I've lost all faith in the other party and the bureaucracy to help get us out of trouble.

Well one of them gets to bomb their cities and the other can't? Yeah, this is a negotiation tactic.

I've never understood why the restrictions in the first place. Firstly, why provide systems not utilized to their full potential... in a war.

The restrictions are because everyone knows the country Who missiles are launched is the country who actually planned the attack. Because Ukraine without the intelligence of those nations have no use for them.

You can excuse NATO striking Russia in Ukraine but not NATO striking Russia in Russia.

Us getting involved and escalating the Ukraine-Russia war is one of my two lines in the sand that would cause me to lose faith in him. The other is a military confrontation with China. I don’t like this shite one bit if it’s true

Told y’all.

By this point it is fairly obvious what is going to happen, and Trump seems to be offering Putin a last chance at preventing it. Trump is going to double down on support for Ukraine, and there will be a big escalation, not only in support for Ukraine, but in tactics that Ukraine is permitted to employ. Russia will face hell this summer in the hopes that Putin will crack and come to the table. The only thing Putin understands is strength. He is about to experience it. He should come to the table ASAP and settle the matter.

You can't give Ukraine permission to shoot missiles at Russia if you want to strike a deal with Russia.

It’s the only way you’re going to get a deal done with Russia. Russia attacks weakness and recoils from strength.

Negotiation tactic. Putting Russia’s feet to the fire.

Could be. I wonder if the Russian people were feeling some of the same effects from missile attacks as the Ukrainian people have been feeling if there would be more incentive for Putin, Zeelenskee and Trump to get together for a peace agreement?

It hilarious how people like you will speak with such confidence

Ukraine striking in Russia doesn’t change the front line

No one has long range missiles to give Ukraine to even make a difference that will cause Russia war efforts to collapse

Russia will respond 10 fold, they sent over 500 missile and drone and had only 20 civilians casualties. If Ukraine hits Moscow Kyiv will suffer

You people are emotional like women, thinking symbolic strikes that won’t change the battle field and will cause only a stronger response without change the war.

Unless you are ready to unleash our stockpile to Ukraine and Europe sends man power nothing will change

If long range strikes made a difference, Russia would have won by now.
