Did anyone ever doubt that we would have a military victory? The goal should be a political victory, meaning the regime changing to a Western friendly, non-theocratic government. If this is not the result, then there is no win to be found.

Again I ask, why is it ok for north Korea, China, Russia, Pakistan and Israel to have nuclear weapons and Iran is worth a war that is going to wreck our economy and potentially evolve into something highly deadly? He always has. That’s what happens when a leader is candid and doesn’t regurgitate prepared messages all the time. I find it very refreshing, and his policies and beliefs are easily seen by parsing everything he says even if the occasional statement is an outlier.
