And then we get to spend billions to reconstruct it. Because you know that's what would happen. We always do. If this supposed regime change actually happens and we miraculously end up with a regime that is at least tolerant of the US, we're going to end up spending billions of dollars rebuilding what we destroyed. Trump may choose to do a limited strike on infrastructure.
Bomb the main transfer lines coming out of the electrical power houses without damaging the boilers and turbines.
Bomb the main distribution pumps at the water treatment plants leaving the plants intact.
Bomb the oil tanker and ship loading pumps leaving as much intact as possible.
A lot cheaper to rebuild and not long to do the repairs in case if we have to do it.
Then Trump can ask again. Are you ready to negotiate with a new approved regime?
