Did the POTUS have the authority to withhold? It seems obvious since he supposedly placed a hold. Thus, withholding is not a crime in and of itself

Why in the hell has a R senator or group not asked the question why the 18th House witness testimony, Michael Atkinson, has not been made available by the house managers and presented to the Senate?

Does anyone recall whether there's been any question to House managers as to why the House never issued a subpoena to Bolton??

Yes because his deputy sued them after being subpoenaed and they didn’t have the time it would take and would lose anyway. They withdrew that subpoena days before a ruling.

Finally a legitimate question framed in way it should’ve been asked all night

Ask the question to opposing side to gain information

Let's fricking hope so. Hard to fathom that not being relevant to these proceedings and forcing Schiff to answer it.

There was.

Schiff said its because Bolton refused when he was asked politely to testify.

So he decided to not subpoena Bolton because he didnt want to litigate the subpoena when the WH would challenge the subpoena.

And finally a pointed question to a specific person

This is how the questions should have been all day.

How bad is it when you are considered the dumber senator from Connecticut?

Keep in mind that the other senator is Blumenthal, who is a corrupt lying sack of shite.

BHP and I could answer these softballs. Let’s hear some meat. Ask both sides, If there is suspected corruption of a politician involving a foreign power, do you think it is an abuse of power to investigate that corruption regardless of political ties or are you immune from it if it is pursued by a political foe and considered an abuse of power?
