Durkin will be DC only and won't coach ILBs anymore. Todd Orlando from USF is expected to join as Co-DC/ILB and will be announced tomorrow

This seems a bit uncomfortable for me. Durkin has improved our ILB play drastically from where it was before him. Orlando has been a DC at Texas and Southern Cal, he should be able to coach Buck/OLBs. I don’t understand why Durkin doesn’t coach ILBs, Orlando Buck/OLBs and Creamer STC..
Todd Orlando and Chad Creamer sound like p*rn stars

Everyone thinks less. It’s a complicated game, that is broken down into very simple concepts. If a guy does this, do this. If he does that, do that. And practice that over and over again

It is an offense where you take what the defense gives you. Most teams would rather give up 5 yards than a 70 yard pass
If Durkin were able to bring T-Rob home as Co-DC/S coach, I would consider it a SPLASH HIRE. It almost transpired at Maryland when Durkin was there as HC. Auburn>Maryland.

Come home T-Rob

It’s basically a hot route. The entire team knows where the ball is going and they aren’t involved in the play. What do you want them to do, sprint down the field for the hell of it? Haha

This video is much more informative

Well, good thing this is freaking college and not pros, although the NFL does use some of these same concepts at times obviously
I would imagine, Van Dyke was agreed upon between Golesh and Durkin, but Durkin has the authority to hire his Defensive staff how he sees fit. Golesh probably told him to go get the best

Why all of you are talking shite, do we know for sure he is leaving? And if not, are you saying we would be better off without him? That is crazy talk

I know that Golesh and DJ are buddies

Tell us more. How so?

Wil transfer and probably do well.

Has this been confirmed? What is your source?
Who is going to be our OC is the only question I have..

I’m shocked Hall is playing
We obviously never want our star player to get hurt but there is always a silver lining to most things. Our team is going to have to grow up fast and play meaningful roles. Should benefit us when Hall comes back, when it matters most

The players want Durkin. This is important. The real question is who is going to run the offense AND recruit at a high level.
Edema would be a HUGE addition and most likely start as a freshman for us at the 5. He is the rim protection we need, along with a few more
I think GOAT Jr had a great press conference. The biggest takeaway as fans were two things.

1. This staff is the best in the country. Complete continuity.
2. This year’s team has a very tough schedule, especially early, but we have the talent to beat anyone we play.
