We’re most definitely going to be in the top 10 but could be better than that with this portal class, so far
I think Deuce has the talent to be a heisman contender/winner, especially in this offense
If Deuce is smart and I think he is, he has a grasp on what he needs to do. Auburn is a great opportunity for him to be special. There aren’t many offensive systems in the country that have produced what Golesh and Brown has.

Brown is one of only 12 players who have passed for 3k and ran for 1k in a season. The names on that list include Vince Young, Johnny Football, Lamar Jackson(twice), Kyler Murray, Jalen Hurts(Oklahoma), and Jayden Daniels, the latest even being transfer QBs.

There were also 2 QBs from Northern Illinois that did it back to back seasons, which brings me to my point. They had a prolific offense. They had a proven system.
Brown has done it, is very capable of doing it again and I truly believe that Deuce has the ability to do it as well.
This is a golden opportunity for everyone involved, especially Deuce, no pun intended
If we were able to add Singleton and Koger, and retain Cam, ESJ, Turner, Duke and BC, along with Spencer coming in, that would be a very formidable WR group imho
So Kroger, a USF WR, is from St Frances and played on the same team as Woodby, Deas and Darrion Smith
I think incentive based contracts are what we need to do. You can’t pay players just to get them, front load their deals and expect them to produce, they need to earn it and if they don’t like it, they can simply go somewhere else where the standard isn’t as high
Just a question to throw out there, who would you rather have?

Malcolm Simmons- 25 catches, 457 yards, 2 TDs

-or-

Keshaun Singleton- 50 catches, 877 yards, 8 TDs

And what about if Singleton was less than Simmons cost?

It’s an opportunity to achieve the very highest of your goals. Why? Because people before you have and people after you will. Auburn is bigger than one or even many
You all are being strung along like some damn puppets. Regardless of what happens, Auburn will still be Auburn

Not so fast my friend
I agree. All four keepsies and then bring in one impact LB to complete that group
If we retain Deuce, Cobb, Cam, ESJ, Lew, JSmith, the young DTs, Melendez, Deas, Godby, Winters and Fagans, along with X on board, wouldn’t that be considered a great foundation to build from? And we will fill the gaps in the portal. We need OL, DL and TE, stat
Freeze and Harsin is old news. Alex Golesh is going to build our program into a winner
What is also beneficial is that Brown’s asking price isn’t nearly as high as some of the other top portal QBs. Most of the top QBs are going for at least 2m plus, starting out. Brown is asking for half of that, which allows us to pay Deuce more and everyone is happy. Now we can go spend more on other positions of need and QB room basically set, now and future
If you think about scheme and familiarity, between a new coach and his proven QB, this is as close to striking gold as it gets. For that, he should be No.1 overall because none of the others have that benefit taking everything into account. And for those that are thinking “rebuild’, this isn’t a rebuild but win now move and that will become clearer the closer we get to January 2nd
