Do some presidents just get lucky when they happen to be president during good economic times?

the abject ignorance of those folk is difficult to ponder - you would think anyone would be smarted than that - but they seem proud of themselves.

There is definitely some degree of luck involved IMO

The president can promote policies that can help or harm the economy but usually not alone

The full effects of economic policies aren’t even visible during a 4 year term.

Seriously??? Lol. I've listed several.
Victor David Hanson regularly list them on every episode.
Record investments, highest median income in history, job gains, inflation is lower than the last 5-6 years, tax breaks, the list is long.
Y'all bunch of TDS infected idiots only consume the Marxist Dems propaganda, but just to blinded to realize it

Each candidate will have their own platform and proposal---should we list everything for every potential candidate?

Assuming that you're looking for a real answer, the quickest thing they can do is reclaim their constitutional power over tariffs.

Depends on who you ask.

For example, Clinton benefitted tremendously from technological innovations that came to fruition in the 90s. He certainly didn't cause that.

However, one could argue that the trickle down policies of Reagan-Bush I fertilized the investment soil that did lead to much of it.

Too many factors for anyone to be able to say with much certainty.

Another big “infrastructure bill” that pays off the debt of democrat cities and states. Also we will continue funding Israel.

We don’t have to guess here. They do have a plan to lower prices…. Price controls and higher corporate taxes.

I don’t know how or why they think that will work, but it is what they say they will
Don’t combat inflation.

Their plan is the same as the last ten years. Blame the Bad Orange Man.
