re: Trump campaign advisor George Papadopolous plead guilty on making false statements to FBI

the indictment doesn't indicate any meeting b/w the actual Trump admin and the Russian agent

the best "smoking gun' is one upper level campaign guy (likely Manafort? Flynn?) telling Papadopolous to make the trip (after like 20 emails)

the trip never happened, per the indictment

i'd imagine if there was more, we'd know by now. the feds seem to have read a lot of emails among the Trump campaign. it seems somebody close to the campaign knew he pled in July, which makes the August story seem like a leak/spin.

Our national nightmare is almost over.

It's funny that this board always thinks x will happen becuase of y leak or some off the wall connection made by a blogger. They think what we actually does happen is some huge event that connects to something greater.

But at the end of the day, this guy was arrested months ago, indicted weeks ago, and nobody heard his name or knew anything about him until today.

Any chance that might clue people in to the fact that all this other shite is just that? shite?

Hoping a party collapses under its own weight and as an extension of their continued misdeeds is not advocating forcible suppression of political speech.

Lighten up snowflake, of all the partisan shite that gets posted on here, that soldiers expression of his speech rights, which he has served the country to defend, is hardly even a 2 on even the most triggered outrage scale.

And frankly, if this board is any indicator, Trump could be caught on tape making a phone call to Putin about their successful collusion, while getting peed on by a prostitute, while tweeting about defrauding the American people, and 80% of the Republican Party would just scream about “her emails!!” and ask “what about Obama!!”

It’s starting to occur to me that Sessions probably would have known about a lot of this.
