If they do this, then they must pass everything from Trump's campaign agenda, especially election reform. If they are just going to do it for a CR, then this is a terrible idea. No half measures.

No it doesn't require 60. Funnily enough, the filibuster is nothing more than a rule passed by the senate for the senate, and rules can be changed with a simple majority vote.
I think both parties enjoy having the filibuster because it's a nice excuse to not get anything done.

Not a wise move, the filibuster is the only protection the minority has and if the republicans lose the majority the dems will run rampant. The filibuster foster more bipartisanship discussion on legislation. There’s a reason neither side had done this

To be fair, it's the only protection the minority has in the senate. In order to make a law you need it to pass the senate, the house and the presidents desk. In my opinion, if you've won the house, the senate and the presidency you should at least be able to get some of your agenda passed. And if people hate it they vote you out next election.
The filibuster just leads to more kicking cans down the road, more executive over reach, and more partisan fighting.

Asmon has some good takes but this guy is not conservative. He's just against illegal immigration (and DEI for killing video games). Just today he argued people making 40k should also get food stamps and we don't give enough free shite out.
