This is all for show and illustrates that shutdowns have become political theater while we all suffer.
Shutdowns limit executive actions; agencies can only perform “excepted” functions (e.g., emergencies). These Reductions in Force (RIF) create new obligations (severances, appeals) that require funding, which is unavailable.
This makes the RIF “incompatible with the law” and a “made-up” expansion of authority.

This is how you know division efforts continue to work. They've successfully turned this into a finger pointing issue with no shortage of true believing idiots to buy into this line of thinking.
Who is to blame? Every single damn one of our useless Congress members who have refused to do their fricking jobs for decades now.
They, collectively, put a lot of time and effort into getting those fingers to point at the other side when in reality the whole useless lot is the problem.

My life has not changed 1%.
And I flew from Houston to New Hampshire Thursday. No flight delays.
What we’ve “suffered” is overpaid useless civil servants for far too long.
