Here's how I think of it... I remember Nina Jancowicz and the Department of Misinformation, I recall the lockdown on all social media on all things, not just covid, I haven't forgotten the things the BidenHarris Administration was "for", nor the people they liked to put in charge.
For me, Trump isn't just about what he's doing but what ISN'T happening that would be if Harris had won. Laws, regulations, EOs, appointments, MOUs, DEI, LGBTQRS, mandates, rules, etc...

Overall he’s still doing a good job but the Iran thing was a monumental mistake that I didn’t think he’d make. He really took his eye off the ball there.

On a scale of 1-10 maybe you feel we are at a 5 or a 6.. certainly not as good as a 10... but without Trump we'd be at a 2 at best.

DeSantis wouldn’t be as obnoxious publically
He wouldn’t be giving credibility to the crypto industry much less pardoning a bunch of crypto criminals to help his kids cash in on crypto
He wouldnt have implemented a bunch of tarriffs that were ruled illegal.
He wouldn’t be using taxpayer money to bail out floundering companies like Intel and actually buying interests in those companies creating unfair competition.
He wouldn’t have tried to cash in on his social media platform by charging people for posts before they go public (because he doesn’t have a social media platform)
He wouldn’t be using the office to cash in with Meme coins and other tacky crap
He wouldn’t have gone into Iran without a concrete plan to deal with all aspects of the ancilliary issues
He wouldn’t have done a stupid no bid ball room for the White House
He wouldn’t have the lineup of enemies that want to derail his policies
He wouldn’t be throwing his own hires under the bus publically
He wouldn’t have issues with Epstein
And he would probably get more done because he wouldn’t be running around publically insulting people including members of his own party.

He is just making a money grab for him and family, he doesn’t care about governing, throw some red meat out on truth for maga world to get distracted while he does nothing to help everyday Americans, if he has done anything of substance other than immigration deportations, name it

Anyone who thinks that DeSantis wouldn't be running a significantly better administration is delusional. Cult of personality is why we are where we are.

DeSantis would never have done doge, never would have shut down USAID, and never would have done half of what trump has pushed for regarding immigration. DeSantis likely isn’t looking as deep into healthcare fraud either.
You have to understand WHY Trump is getting so much resistance from the Senate, and it is largely because of how he has gone after USAID and medical fraud. So many Senators were complicit, and I hope we start seeing them brought to justice. It is no coincidence that since USAID funding was cut, South America has gone conservative in nearly every election.
A DeSantis administration would be a lot cleaner, for sure, but that would be because he would refuse to touch issues that desperately need reform. In the end, we will see if Trump’s strategy of confrontation domestically and abroad bears more fruit than simply acquiescing to business as usual with a mild conservative bend.

I’m more interested in the perception(s) amongst some of us regarding the nature of the “promises” he or she insists were made. I’m firmly convinced that while there may be plenty of fair criticism to go around, it’s far more of a matter of lousy interpretation by the “some of us” referenced hereinabove. And much of the time it appears to me that given what seem to be quite simple and straightforward points that Trump apparently intended, people must surely be intentionally misinterpreting him. Which is quite strange self-deprecating behavior.
