This is the domino I’ve been waiting on and it really makes me happy. Japan has been an incredible ally of ours. We also have a large joint military exercise taking place with them and others because China is an asshoe.

Am I understanding that the US will keep 90% of the profits? I mean I guess it’s good, but why would Japan agree to that?

As posted above, Japan is a good ally, and they actually appreciate the protection the US has and will provide from China. We imposed a strict Constitution on them that has limited their military, but they are working on it.

The reconstruction and alliance the US built with Japan after WWII is a shining example of what America is capable of, I'd take them over any of our other allys including the UK.

Japan is an amazing ally and a deep friend of the American people . The cultural exchange is also incredible. They are due a tremendous amount of respect.
