The people who are keying private property, firebombing Tesla dealerships, and doxxing/threatening Tesla owners are the problem, as are those who apologize for them.

This. He's rebranding Tesla as an American made, America first company and as a fairly large shareholder myself I support Elon. The cream always rises to the top. Their cars will be a ever decreasing portion of the company over the next decade. These paid agitators and psychos will be dealt with and Tesla will move on. This isn't an organic movement, this is being financed and organized by the left.

Why has no one pointed out that Tesla stock went from $240 to $488 in the month following the elections.

Huge gains because of his connection to Trump.

It's current price is hovering around where it was November 4th. Less of a drop than the overall market in that timeframe.

You’re missing steps before that. Refer back to my post in which you quoted.

Musk didn’t start a think tank on government spending.

He didn’t even just silently donate to Trump.

He actively campaigned for Trump and then joined the administration.

The first two are a footnote in a billionaire’s Wikipedia.

The latter becomes persona non grata with a major portion of the Tesla customer base.

The former is a right leaning billionaire the latter is “all in” on the current administration

I’m not sure what’s confusing here.

Elon is also the man behind the vision of Tesla. You remove him and Tesla will die a slow death. Period.

Stock prices are not falling because Musk is trying to make government efficient. They are falling because he is working with Trump. Deep down inside, you understand this, and your post is ... somewhat ... disingenuous.
So 67% of people agree with what Trump is doing yet 33% own most of Tesla stock, believe in climate change, and don't give two shits about climate change if it means supporting Elon who works for Trump who is doing incredible work trying to fix the fraud that is big government because he cares at his own cost? You mean those 33%?

You are absolutely correct.

It is PURE "evil" to not want to own stock in a company run by a man whose political views you do not share.

That is some deep analysis, my friend. I am impressed by your incisive analysis.

Over 66% of Tesla is held by either Elon or institutional investors. This dude’s opinion means squat.

If I recall correctly Vangaurd, Black Rock, and State Street are the largest institutional investors. They aren’t removing Elon over a petty vendetta.

Yep, they just don't want to own Tesla stock. They're not systematically firebombing Tesla dealerships and damaging already purchased Tesla vehicles in the wild. There is no national ownership location online or anything.

This is just about not wanting to own stocks.

Not evil at all.

Do we know how much of that lose is due to his govt involvement vs tech stocks being down?

Yes. It's severely lagging other FAANG stocks.

So you check the political affiliation of EVERY company you invest in? Are there now Republican/Democrat investment opportunities? I always thought the best way to invest was about how successful the PRODUCT or SERVICE would be?

Hank, do you own any Tesla stock? I sure do, and I am fine with Elon. In fact, real Tesla investors know that 2027 is when the stock is going to really move. So, this is a great price to buy......Your small brain might not understand it, but most long term Tesla investors are riding with Elon knowing that the future is GREAT!!

Hank actively beats his dick at the opportunity to completely ignore an actual point someone is making so he can keep circling back to his point which has nothing to do with what’s being talked about.

DOGE was only supposed to be a short term program for Elon and Vivek and it may have to end in it’s current format sooner than the two year period,

I think there’s a six-month limit each year for being a special government employee. So maybe four more months for Musk.
