Add one more thing for the national news media to gloss over. Didn't take long for Joe to trot out there in front of the cameras and add the extra ' when it was safe' line, which was clearly written for him to say by his handlers.
You ORDER something to happen, it's supposed to happen. If you INSTRUCT the military to bring it down, then you're giving them the leeway to act conditionally. Joe doesn't understand this because he's just a spectator in this administration.

For clarity - I wasn't piling on that specific issue - just that Trump, who is famous for firing people, said folks weren't doing what he told them to do. I don't think he fired enough/the right people, but that's a discussion for a different day.
Has Brandon fired/is Brandon firing anyone over this? If not, then the assertion that "He told them to shoot it down and they said no" is bullshite.
