I’m sorry, but someone who keeps looking down at a script for his speech is someone who is grandstanding and has no passion for the issue at hand.

This just might be the most ignorant thing ever posted on this board. He’s quoting someone. Obviously he’s going to look down to make sure that he doesn’t misquote the person.
Those weren’t his words. Those were the words of Schmucky. But, if you go back and look at Schmucky giving the same speech, a speech that supposed to be in his own words, I would bet that you would see that Schmucky was looking down and reading it verbatim. In that case, you would be correct - Schmucky he was grandstanding.
