Tennessee Starting OL Wendell Moe Jr. Expected To Miss Rest Of Season

© Denny Medley-USA TODAY Sports
Tennessee has reportedly lost one of its top offensive linemen for the remainder of the 2026 season.
Starting left guard Wendell Moe Jr. is expected to miss the rest of the year after suffering a lower-body injury during Saturday’s loss to Texas, according to On3.
Moe was injured on Tennessee’s opening drive and did not return.
The veteran offensive lineman started the Vols’ first four games this season and was one of the most experienced players up front. Moe earned first-team All-SEC honors from the Associated Press last season and entered 2026 with 38 career starts.
His absence is another major concern for a Tennessee offensive line that struggled badly against Texas. The Vols allowed 10 sacks and finished with just 70 rushing yards in the 20-17 loss.
Tennessee will now have to reshuffle the interior of its offensive line as the Vols move deeper into SEC play.
